Still wish this developer didn't add miss and evade mechanics to this game. It just makes the fights so RNG heavy rather than figuring out the boss and beating them. You also now have to get lucky.
I can somewhat understand it though considering just how static their patterns actually are. Scarlet is just a case of grinding until you can beat her (I didn't realize I could shop/craft until after I beat her. :test2
since her attack pattern is always the same. Green has tells and 2 of her moves are just useless against you. Blue has to charge so much that she goes down incredibly easily. He might've felt like there needed to be some RNG.

So what does losing your Dignity actually do, I couldn't tell. Relatedly is there anything other than just getting free items out of Scarlet's Shoe Game?

That makes more RNG, I don't do it because it's a beginner trap sort of deal. I'm talking about misses and evades. Also the game could due with getting rid of some of the grind. I'm find losing 3-5 times, but it appears that it's been increased and is getting heavily reliant on farming materials. Grinding is often due to lack of content, it's not a feature.
use the wind armor and sword(the water sword is fine here but the speed boost means you miss less and hit first more often) if you have it you take more damage from her attacks if you have the water armor and/or cape on.
The new girl is surprisingly easy to defeat, though that may just be because I'm level 8. I just smacked her with my fire sword repeatedly. I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I completely forgot about the grab block mechanic till I went back down to the first floor to try and see if I could beat everyone's Level 3 fights, what I'm not embarrassed about is me breezing through all the QTE's of the grabs and still kicking her ass while going through all the choices to see what I may have missed.
At Level 8, you can reliably beat everyone's Level 3 fights, with the 2nd floor being easiest due to fire punches, followed by the Water nun, followed by the new girl and surprisingly, the 1st floor is toughest solely due to her elemental affinity.

I've found Scarlet to be the toughest simply because she doesn't have any tells/counterplay or whatever. She just beats the shit out of you.... I can respect that.

Scarlet may not have tells, but she does the exact same attack order no matter what. She has no RNG at all.

This scarlett mini-game have more grind than entire game. I'm decided to edit my save with editor and unlocked puppy costume and new phrases. But how many times you need to play this damn game to unlock it in fair way?!

You have to rotate beetween *find shoe* play and Fight with her (better to play 2-3 then fight).
