Idk Becky is guilty of something many highschool girls are. Self image problems especially for a larger girl who may not have a good opinion of herself in the first place and then thanks to rumors feels like her bf is too good for her and she doesn't deserve him. So she tries to spare herself of greater pain just to realize she ruined everything because of the voices in her head running her down.
