so DS is mostly the one pulling the strings on the story towards that direction... and none of the top tier pledges are giving input? Or all of them simply okay, going auto-pilot/blind-faith on the development direction that DS is doing, catering the NTR (netorare) content?

I would bet on 3, and we would be getting the new "Eric" from one of Lisa's path, the one being were she becomes Alex's girlfriend and starts bringing him home and he starts to take an interest on the female residents of the house. I don't know if DS could be dumb enough, to actually force the previous possibility if you were to take Olivia as your "gf" and just make it so that Alex comes along to visit, because Olivia and Alice and him are friends. That is as much that I am willing to predict based on content, and the thing about Kate being a new Eric, it could still be real since she states somewhere, that "she doesn't want Max to be getting it on with Alice without her being present".
Just wanted to add another comment from patreon that piqued my interest, just as the spoiler titles states, it was trying to bring some equality between the content-ratio in the game and maybe a solution on how to solve the discontent in the player-base. Again not placing names.

That's personally why I don't play the early release partial content like Big Brother . The games looks great , the mechanic are fun up to the point the Eric's stuff begin , and that's not because the idea of a rival piss me off quite the contrary I think it's brilliant to have put an enemy.
What's not is that you can't seem to find a way to beat him without loosing what you want to win in the process and that's frustrating. Let alone the idea that the story is progressively turning into an unavoidable NTRish thing. Which is a shame since I quite like the personality of the mother and sister and the original setup .
Well here's to hopping this won't turn into "mindless fuckdoll" land as Jinphantomface put's it .

here he's making quite some good points. Side notes: With recent developments and mystery behind no DRM "generosity" figured out, I wouldn't be surprised if the next version saw revival of the DRM.
This game is definitely getting more and more pussyfying by the update.

Just my 2 cents, I really like this game and the NTR stuff as well.
I understand that not everyone likes this but that's why you have the "Fight Eric" route, I'd think that eventually you'll be able to throw him out and get all the girls for yourself.
If anything I'm a bit disappointed that the "Friends with Eric" route seems to be much less developed.
Even though you chose to be friendly the game still strongly pushes you towards changing your mind and fighting him:
- you're cutting yourself off from a lot of content if you don't fight him
- you're not really getting any new content in return. Looking at a door with some text saying "Oh I guess they're having sex" is pretty lame
- the game still ends with a game over if you don't stop Eric's influence... even though you're friendly with him? wtf, why?

As far as I can remember DS actually came out saying after reaching that goal that he would not quit his job. Something about not wanting to tell the people he knows what he is making money on (making porn games).Let's collect bets

As for the whole Eric stuff meh. I so hope that when 0.5 rolls out we are done with cockblocking if our playthrough made it so. Keeping the ID has to be the catalyst to kick Eric out in the next version. And if we are to believe DS, he has said there would be 2 ways to do so. It would be lame to introduce a new "Eric" after that. Just because you beat your nemesis does not mean the game is over. You still have to get in the good graces with the girls and sex them. Some people are saying that Alex will be the new Eric. The only place Alex should show up and be like that are if you decided to go with Olivia. I could se a fight then, but not if Lisa is your gf. And if Alex then suddenly starts going after the other women in you family...lame. So, so lame!
Though Kate seem to have been established already as somewhat a block for Alice. But Max is doing stuff with her, so it should not turn out to be Eric level of cockblocking. I have been okay with all of this so far, even though I hate how onesided it has been. If we can get rid of Eric in the next version and another "Eric" steps up and takes his place. I will most likely stop my pledge. It is getting boring, to much cockfighting and no real progression with the girls. They are completly static almost. That is how I feel about this.

So, let me get this straight. Here's what I've made from the barrage of your posts.
1. You bash DS because the game is not to YOUR liking.
2. You also have to enlighten the rest of the patrons, because clearly they can't form an opinion of their own.
3. If, god forbid, someone likes the game, they must be dumb or something because they don't share your impeccable opinion.
4. While you hate the game with a passion, instead of skipping it you just flood Patreon posts with borderline-tinfoil comments.
5. You also decide to graciously provide us with a few unstructured walls of text here as well, because on Patreon alone is not enough apparently.
Did I miss anything?
