It feels like this one didn't get them playing the game themselves to find the obvious bugs. It just felt like they released the game and then have the player base report the bugs for them like some devs do like KsT. Also this is a patreon game. That means the dev has his/her idea and then tweaks it to appease the people who are paying. A lot of people wanted a rework of the mom and he delivered it for them whether you or I or anyone likes it. The teachers update is next and that might be something you'd be more interested in.

I can easily say this the best update DC has made yet.
The flow in the Mom arc is more believable this time around and also you can see ''corruption'' happen slowly, to the point Mom doesn't care. Also i don't know what happen but the dialogue improved tremendously in this update from the last update, i personally like the dialogue that are based on sex to be vulgar and this update it is a lot so i am happy camper right now.
If this how the flow continues for 0.15 and 0.15.5 i will be delighted. because the next three updates are based on the characters i liker the most, what can i say Sis and Roxxy are in my favorites (i like the bitchy, cuz i know the need more dick). Anyway if the keep going this way of consistent flow and dirty talk without unnecessary additions that are not based in the story, or are important as fundamental for the next updates so it's doesn't take more time to create.

I hear what you're saying here, for sure. And agree somewhat. I think part of the issue is that the fans are so rabid for a new update that it makes more sense for them to release it a little early and then fix the bugs as they come up. Otherwise there'd be a few days to a week more of internal testing because sometimes these bugs don't show up in every playthrough. Maybe they should get more in-house testers, maybe they should open the testing to their high roller patrons (which I see people complain about too, people hate patron only builds).
I think the fact that the game doesn't progress linearly makes it difficult to try to make saves compatible, and would unnecessarily add to the time between each update. Which you seem to agree with.
My question to you about the rewritten update is this: Do they make the story flow better in your opinion? If not, then maybe they're not worth it to you. I think that balance updates may be necessary when you're building a game nonlinearly. As the story develops, things change. New tie-ins need to be done, and old situations make not work as well as they did.
Hopefully, you don't feel as if I attempted to savage you at all. I wish the updates came faster, just like you do. I wish they were 100% bug-free when they came out too. But I definitely think it's a bit much to call the current content an appeasement and indulgement.

I'd say that's likely because it's already Mom's third and basically final update so they could actually wrap things up. Every other story is either unfinished (like sis, Diane and especially Mia) or simply concerns minor characters like Mrs. Johnson or Helen who won't get that much attention anyway. Time does matter and it's a huge difference if you invest 30-40 days (like in Mia's case) or 90+ days of work into a character like it has happened now with mom. I personally fear that many players will be very very disapointed with Roxxy's first update after they've seen the reworked Mom and Sis/Diane stories.
If you encounter the bug I just did where you can't go back to your room in order to sleep and pass the day after night type this into the console and go to sleep

No one is going to have a stable save file until the fixed version is out broseph. Just wait like the rest of us for the fixed version or play the bugged version.

So much nonsense in the comments again. There are tons of new stuff in the game. Mom and MC in the car. Mom and MC in the Living Room, Dining Room, In his Room, Lotion Leg massage, Better Sex Animations in every scene. Movie Night with Mom etc. The rearanged story makes now way more sense now.
This takes literally weeks to draw and animate and write code for and yet ppl bitch around when even certain things like when the MC jerking off where entirely made cause ppl in stream requested it.
I watch DC every stream and while he makes his story the way HE wants to there is not ONE SINGLE STREAM where he doesnt let ppl decide or influence stuff inside a scene. Almost every book you see in shelfs are suggestions from the Chat.
Last week he drew the Lockers for every main character in the game and literally every single thing inside of them was suggested by the chat. I dont know any company where more FAN SERVICE is done FOR FREE!!!

You know, as much as i like the mom, she pretty much complete. The next auxiliary updates need to be on the aunt or sis.
Which is whats planned. 15.5 is sister and 16.5 is aunt. Id personally have aunt be 15.5, but I'm fine with it as it is.
Right now the hotfix is planned to be dropped tomorrow so wait for that.

I feel like they definitely tested it a bunch, there were so many changes to the story flow that they would have had to run through more than once to make it work. Although they seemed to focus strictly on the early game stuff since the treasure quest is broken. It would probably better if they labeled this release "Alpha" or "Beta" just so people aren't expecting lack of bugs.
Outside of the bugs, this release is fantastic IMO. DC added soooo much new art, and the story flow of the mom is way better now. If this is how all the releases are going to be, this game will end up amazing.
