Here you go, save your money:) In the surfaces tab change the base colour of her skin to 0.69, 0.49, 0.25 or thereabouts then select torso and add the map in the attached rar to "Diffuse Overlay Weight" and set it between 0.05 and 0.1.

You can refine the map in photoshop, just make sure everything lines up if you do.

Hey, I just tested the file in tanlines.rar using the standard Olympia Iray mats (randomly picked) and I needed to set the "Diffuse Overlay Weight" between 0.05 and 0.10. Aside from that little glitch, it works great!

I also tried it on FR Lilja (texture used in DmD) and it works well there too.

My questions are, did you create the actual file in the first place? If you did, was it created by hand painting a copy of one of the torso texture maps? Or did you have a way to mask the bathing suit on the texture map ahead of time?

Tan lines are a thing that really should be expanded beyond bathing suits - farmers tans for example. Or raccoon eyes from wearing sunglasses all the time.

I just changed it before reading this:). You're right, it's 0.05 and 0.1.

Yeah I made it myself I used the Blaire torso map as a template in Photoshop, created a new layer and masked off the correct areas by hand(it took a few trys to get the crotch area to match up and the back too... then I just had to figure out where to put it in the torso surfaces to get it to look right.

Thanks for letting me know it works. I assume it should work on most gen 3 models.

Thank you so much.. I cannot wait to use it for my next render! By the way, when you made G8F version of BB people, I rember you applied a whole new skin material for them. Have you made it by yourself? If you made it, what application did you use? I want to make my original character in the long run too.. (I rember I saw a tool for making G3F skin in Daz store, but haven't seen one for G8F yet..)

Meanwhile, I made my own tanlines texture, directly modifying the Blaire torso texture. It was a lot of trial and error but took less time than I expected to match the Hongyu "Bikini 2" bottoms I used as reference. In doing this, I have learned that whatever future I may have in 3D rendering does NOT include making these skin textures, no thanks, not interested.

I figured the sun might have lightened her hair too.

WARNING... DO NOT LET FOX SEE THAT PIC.. with triple Lisa Fox may be lost staring FOREVER. :) Three Lisa at one time may result in a total mental breakdown for the Lisa lovers, and possibly worse for Fox. :)

Just a thought.

I mixed the texture maps in Photoshop... Adjusted the tones put in the correct freckles etc. You need to do it for each map that is used. Also for that g8 skin I'm using more maps, than the other g3 bb skins.
