So the game breaks if you try do save/load to check responses to different choices.. Guess I won't touch this game until it's "fixed"
Given the state of his previous game, that never happens so I guess I'll have to wait for a walkthrough and play it in one sitting without save/load. sigh....
The choices are fairly obvious as to which ones lead to what routes unless your rushing the story line blindly to get to the h scenes. You can restart and get through it in an hour easily.

The only upside to this engine is the Chapter system, which assumes you made all the right choices in the previous chapter. So "Saves" for keeping track of your progress seem to be not needed at the current time unless you can't finish a chapter in a sitting.

the game is still very buggy, usually if you try to load a save the game don't like it very much and starts getting some weird transitions, only way to play it more or less without issue is to just jump into the new chapter, and your choices are meaningless like that

it's a shame that the dev is such a poor programer, because the game is pretty nice, to me it's way better than SSS in every sense, with the exception of the coding

I'm sure someone has pointed this out, but if the font is driving you crazy there is a way to 'change' it. On the top level of the resources directory is a font.css file, it defines all the fonts used by the game. The first line for 'JanuaryHandwriting' is the main font used in dialog. Change the url (not the family) from 'JanuaryHandwriting.woff' to 'Tallys.woff' or one of the other fonts. Or, go the extra mile and DL your favorite font .woff file, pop it in the font folder (make the url that name) and enjoy. It's not a great solution, and it still doesn't make it renpy, but it helps...?

I actually noticed I was wrong, he did change the font. It's still a Handwriting style, but it's not that INSANE CURSIVE font he had at the beginning. Like the one that the commands on the side of the text box are written in.

Ended up have a image of a blackboard stuck at the party, and after that it was just a text game on top of the blackboard. Guess it got a couple bugs that need to be ironed out.
You aren't alone in this. Had exactly the same thing happen and now the game freezes at the club or whatever it is (the event after the party). It also freezes if I try and save at any point now. This is truly some next-level bad programming.

I seen some games lately using this engine. And although I leave it to a dev/creator choice what tools they want to work with etc, I started to loathe it. It feel clunky and slow. So it end up with try once, and toss away. Just to see if any headway is being made using that engine. I don't know if its fault of the engine itself, or lack of optimization or shoddy coding that make it turn out the way it does. Maybe a mix of everything.

This game engine is atrocious, save/load doesn't work, you need to click multiple times for anything to happen.

You need to actually click on the arrow next to where it says load.... Because somehow that make the most sense :p

Understanding the issue with the save/load (Yes/No) button is the key to an easier life... and a lot less random clicking.

For whatever reason (I speculated )... When you load, the "YES" button interacts with the save slot 5 icon behind it.
If when the Yes/No option appears... you move the mouse around a bit without trying to click anything, you'll see the glow around the save slot behind it lights up when you're mousing over it too.

If BOTH "save slot 5" AND the "Yes" button are highlighted... "Yes" won't work.
If you move the mouse left, away from "save slot 5", but not so far that the Yes icon disappears - You CAN click "Yes".
If you move the mouse too far left... "save slot 4" will highlight... and you're back to it not working.

It's a PITA, but the workaround is to click halfway between slot 4 and slot 5, while you can still see the double triangle icon next to Yes.

Btw, does anyone feel like someone else is ghost writing this one? Because this does not have the same writing quality that the first game had. The first one had a sustained plot, and things progressed with the characters slowly. Here we are on Chapter 2 and the MC is convincing a girl to have sex with his family.

Now, if there had been any inkling of his powers being used on her to convince her to do it, then I would say "Ok, that makes sense." But nothing. No even special effect like the old game to give anyone the impression that he had. It was like this girl was just waiting to be invited into an incest free for all.

Oh... and did anyone else wonder if the cheerleader is still locked up in the basement?

I think the font is not that bad, it is readable.
For me, it is far more annoying that you can not read the names in a lot of scenes and you can not hide the text.
Also, the engine is so slow when the scene/chapter changes (black screen = transitions?).
The save/load is also time consuming. It worked for me when I closed the game and loaded then a save.

And the story feels a lot smoother than the first one, it's more subtle and not so aggressive (for now, we will see where this is going).

He does use his power.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Plus she's already interested.

No point having a slow build in the sequel when the previous game has already moved sexual content so far forward, stepping back makes no sense.

The game isn't bad. Like the graphics but the story is a bit simple. I DO have problems with fonts for the names (not enough contrast) and the engine. Reloading does't work and text can't be hidden. Right now it's watchable but unplayable so I'll wait until the loading of the old saves is fixed

played this game for the first time now...
few remarks.
The name of who is talking is only readable when the background isn't dark.
The storyline so far is a bit simple in my opion. Sister sister sister has more depth.
The graphics are of good quality, however some seem to be a bit quickly managed to be of high quality.
gameplay needs to be clicked all the time, where autoplay would be preferred.
The fonts used are readable but do the game no good. The size makes it readable.
But, still its a good game to be following.

You're right, that works. But when you manage to click yes. The save you load is frozen and you cannot progress the text. It's like you just load a screenshot not an actual playable savefile

The choices are fairly obvious as to which ones lead to what routes unless your rushing the story line blindly to get to the h scenes. You can restart and get through it in an hour easily.
Yeah I'm not rushing. If there is no walk-through I like to save/load a lot to see what happens, what's different etc and you can't really say it's obvious which choice gives what route after 2 chapters, because you literally cannot know that.

The game itself is fun but the engine.... I can't use the spacebar, i can't hide the text and worst of all, if you press the esc button, it closes the window without warning about unsaved progress :(.
