Kind of getting off topic here, point is you cant stop me from voicing my opinion so no reason to state your opinion on my opinion lol thats not really benefiting anyone, all its doing is flooding this thread with nonsensical back and forth (i.e. THIS). The solution is really simple if you didnt like my critique or opinion on the game then why not just ignore me?
I dont know why users here always feel the need to reply with the intention of starting a flame war.
my save from V0.4 keeps ending the game instead of going to the next day, any idea for a fix or should I just start over from scratch?
It's not the save that is doing that. The save is only data. You must somehow have installed the V0.5 code wrong and are still using the V0.4 code. And are you really sure it ends at wednesday an not thursday? If the last day you played started with the fire in the school it is day 5.
no it's definitely the end of wednesday, I'll try deleting the game and reinstalling it

All my 0.4 saves have bugs in them. Like I can’t open my inventory and every now and again it just crashes. Doesn’t happen if i start a new game... but i was hoping to avoid redoing everything again (i had 3 different routes with different saves). Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

At last Tim, thank you! Time to deliver this game. Im just expecting the grand finale to be something like this, hope u do it.
Tim will the next update be the last, which would be Friday, the last day of school for the week and the day of the pageant. Or will there be 1 more day after that and an epilogue.
The game concludes on sunday, the eighth day. We know for a plan, the beauty contest on friday, the muscle stud competition on saturday, and sunday the grand finale.

Chantelle doesn't get kidnapped. Maddy does. And you CAN fuck her if you save her, so not sure what you're talking about.

Yes, that's true that the inventory is screwed up in saved games, sorry about that. I added an extra item on day05, but since the screen.rpy file gets loaded at game start, it doesn't incorporate the changes in saved games.
However, the inventory is kind of useless anyway, just don't bother opening it and you should be fine.

As for the argument linear vs open world, let me conclude this pointless discussion:
IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
Why?
First of all, it would mean re-coding everything, an absolute nightmare. Anyone who had a look at my atrocious coding can see that for themselves.
Second, I wouldn't even know where to start, bearing in mind there are set events each day that are meant to PROGRESS the STORY.
Bottom line is, you are pissed off you can't see everything in a day? Cheat the hour in the afternoon, which is by the way a "free-roaming" period of each day more or less, so my game is NOT actually totally linear, I would call it a "semi-sandbox" game personally. Everytime the hour goes up because you fucked a girl or did this or that, just go back one hour.

Also, on the so called open world front: you have all there is to it -> chice of doing daily events in any given order during any given day. There are no more or less kinks to iron out because you already have isolated events that have a given longer period of time they can trigger and the order player goes about doing such events is random. I do not see any other part of open world you would need to implement anyway. Your game -> your rules. Keep up the wondrous work!

You have to save Lolly on day03 and max out with Teagan beforehand too by working at the store on day02 if I remember correctly. But there is walkthrough by zapallbugs that explains everything.
