Your point? Different games take different amounts of time and that all requires some amount of patience when it's the final stretch. Doesn't matter if the engine is Flash, Unity, or Renpy. If you want to iron out a few bugs that suddenly crop up right as you push it out the door, you can take a few extra days to do so.

Or we can bitch and kvetch at them for not bug testing and then having to take a few days to do so as people can't get that third pair of panties when cheat mode's enabled.

I always find it strange (and amusing) when people complain about a developer either:
a. Taking time to test the latest version before releasing it.
b. Taking time to remove the bugs found during the testing.

It's almost like they want to play a game that either doesn't work as it was designed to, or that crashes during game play.:confounded::confused:

There's an awful lot of anger for a 1-2 day delay for a game most will play for a few of days before they start to divert their attention in anticipation for the next update.

not to restart the flame war about the release stall, but for the northern hemisphere it is summer, everyone is allowed a summer vacation. Many people and families about this time take a full week to go off and do something and enjoy the good weather, patreon projects generally don't take vacations because of their release and update schedule. letting someone take 3-4 days and collect themselves and have time to get away generally results in a more rested mind, and a more productive person.

and i apologize to the southern hemisphere i realize it's winter and you're probably still in "dig out" warnings, except for australia, it's only 1 degree below optimal surfing temperature, suck it up ;P (just poking fun, we love you all)

;P it was a reference to a video by yahtzee croshaw of "zero punctuation" fame when he was talking about the "summer games drought" and his reference to it being winter in australia, and if you read what i wrote, you'd realize it was a playful dig at australia ;P

I've gone surfing when the water's at 60 fahrenheit. :D It was body surfing on the Oregon Coast cuz waves don't get big at all but the water's cool. It might be a good idea for everyone to go surfing and cool down while waiting for DC and crew to their normal fantastic job. If you can't surf, just make anatomically correct snow women. :p
