Next update is being play-tested as we speak, since it introduces some new stuff.
The short version is that this update is the biggest update ever, and we went a little too hard with it - because it includes a full rewrite of the game engine and the way the game does things, handles stats, and has much much improved performanced.
And on top of that, there is a huge laundry list of new features, including the movie system (for dates and evening activities), a memory system (so your character can actually remember and recall stuff that happens)
Anyone interested in trying the new features can download / try them from the source code repository:
Real life is not going rough for me, per se, but I do have a baby on the way end of July... so I won't lie and say that's not taking some attention!
Edit: forgot to also mention is there are also 2 new (and unannounced) extremely detailed sex scenes, the Gym types where there are stats, basically sex fight mechanics. One for the Lana Rhoades character and one for Jade Kush - each one has about 25k-30k in writing for them and like 40 possible animations each, they are designed to be highly replayable.

Its supposed to make it so you can invite them to the club - soon youll be able to invite them over your house for movie night as well

The sounds in this game are separate files, and they are not inside the video files. So it's still a problem on your side. Try opening these video files in a browser, and if they don't work, the problem is with your system, which doesn't support the codecs used in the video natively (browsers don't use third-party installed codecs, so you can still open and watch videos in media players, but not in a browser).

Download another browser and see if that fixes the problem. I use Vivaidi for all my html games, and I have yet to have a issue with it.
I have no clue whether your issue is on your end or in the game,
But dude, you've mentioned it how many times in this thread? At some point a less "tenacious" person would just stop.

I'm kinda surprised he didn't just load his saved game into the online version of the game.

You seem to be the only recent one with an issue. Are you sure you've updated the game completely? Have you tried a fresh install? What is your browser? Is it up to date?
The only thing you've done that I can recall, is a few images of the video not playing, then complain that the creator isn't fixing it, more information is needed to fix what is probably something you screwed up.
Yeah I have tried these and no issues from my end but it's possible that a certain browser and certain combo of factors could cause an issue but its hard for me to fix it without anything concrete to go on.
I DID think I had all videos encoded in h.264 so not sure what it could be there... but yeah...

For all we know, he might have installed old mods that are out of date and incompatible with current versions of the game. At this rate, unless he gives more information, I'd just ignore his posts from now on.

I've had a bunch of Good Girl Basic and Ready Maid scenes since the last update some time ago, and have had no issue with video playback. I don't think I've done petite in a while, so I guess I'll try that, but I'm not expecting anything different. Once again, you've said nothing about your browser, if you've got mods, or anything like that.
