I used search, found him asking for a savegame v0.26 (which I look for), went there - but instead of any answer I only found a smartass. So now I'm back looking through the other gazillion search results.

i think the posts asking for <Insert Game Version> save outnumber the posts telling people to the use the search by quite a bit.
Also think of it like this; without people using the search function you'd have even more people asking for saves, cluttering the results even more.

Jack-O's answer wasn't useless. It was useful, it showed the best place to find answers without having to wait for someone to provide it (often less than a couple of minutes), and more importantly it shows another example of the often repeated (not enough) advice, to use the search function.
The clutter, the absolutely unnecessary bloating caused by people asking the exact same questions again, and again, and again,
is and always will be, far worse than the minority of people telling them to use the search function.

On a side note, I question the point in replying to his post at all, since it was made over a month ago, particularly if you're just going to post something that looks like you're being purposefully obtuse.

Given how often that question gets asked, I'm surprised we don't have a Save Request thread. Saying that though, it still wouldn't stop the people who can't be bothered to click the grand total of twice to get to such a thread... 'Cause that happens for other games' sub-forums.

No android version for game, developers cleared that. The unofficial port is also not possible.

Mostly that issue happens when the save files you are using are corrupt. remove all files and put one by one and check the game.

No, it was useless. nobody had posted a v0.26 complete savegame at all. I searched through the search results.
To tell someone to search it with the search function is a dead end. The question for a v0.26 complete savegame was legitimate.

One should never answer a question with a reference to the search function unless one absolutely knows that the answer has already been written!

Did you bother to try without the version number?
Y'know, in case of requests made that aren't asking for a specific version, (which happens enough that it should be a consideration) and then take the logical step to search the results within the timeframe of what you were looking for.

I did, and found lots, and lots of results of people asking for the same kind of thing.
It happens with each version released, people who want either a save from the end of the previous version's content, or one that has everything done so far with the most recent release.

Man, I don't know what I did to piss off the game gods but my progress through this update is just nonexistent. I've sat down and tried to go through it three or four times now, and the RNGs just never seem to trigger favorably for me. Seriously, I try to catch Mom having coffee, that takes like nine tries of reloading the Dining Room over and over again before she shows up. Then it go downstairs to catch her lactating in the bathroom only to find Julia on the couch rubbing one out. I decide to go into the bathroom to leave her alone, but I just get an error saying "no reason to go there", and the game dies (all the nav options disappear). So I reload and start again, and again it takes forever to get the scene of Mom having coffee, lather rinse repeat. Finally get stuff to work, and have the scene with Mom in the cow suit and the milky fisty fun time, and the game outright crashes..... and I hadn't saved! Whoopie! Fire it up again, and the RNG of Mom visiting at night just will not bloody trigger. Gah!

I don't think I need any assistance. I'm just venting.
