Truth. Go visit the fan art sub for this game. There are people using AI to churn out some seriously good images. I've mentioned it over there, but if anyone used that art as the foundation for a game and dropped consistent out-of-the gate releases, they'd make a mint.

I doubt you could actually monetize it, though, given that these AIs seem to be trained using DC's art. As of now these questions are still somewhat unanswered, but there's a huge risk that such a project would be taken down sooner or later because of copyright issues.

Honestly the AI is probably good for fans who want content badly and are waiting.
But using it for a fan project tho will just be a janky ass game without the sandbox and just a bunch of CG's that aren't animated.
it's best to just use it to pass the time until the update

No, I'm saying that because Summertime Saga literally has videos on both websites. Which means it reaches far more people there than this forum does. In theory anyway.
In the end of the day, we have enough proof that adult game developers are just unreliablle, inconsistent and procrastinators. I think the fact they are announcing an update is pretty much an admission of guilt. But let it be known that you just dont trust a porn game developer with a patreon account lol

Maybe one day AI will be the answer, but right now it still has some issues that need to be addressed. And usually like all complex problems usually the first 80% is easy to solve but the last 20% require most of the time and work. it still feels that in image generation AI is still doesn't understand what it creates. I played with it a bit and the results very from funny to just horror.

It's a fair point, though. Unlike most other smaller or newer games on F95, SS has a huge footprint and as such doesn't rely as much on this page as most other games do. As was pointed out a few days ago, one pornhub user alone seems to have more combined views on her SS video collection than this topic on F95 as a whole.
Yeah, as far as I see it, AI will sooner or later lead to a significant increase in medicore games, where people don't really care about the last detail and about real consistency, but just want "a game to play".
Once we are talking about details and stuff, I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

I still recall the times when someone called ICSTOR his hero for releasing proper updates, when people claimed Subverse would trash SS and when people said that WaL! updates were sooo much better. You never know...
