do i have to do main quest and side quest at same time??? it seem some event have set date and will not trigger again if miss it?? or am wrong? can anyone explain to me sorry for trouble and thank you

I choose Russian Maf. if I want to try chloe quest,
do I have to go back my selection point? and select again?
