For players who want more relaxed combat and focus more on intimacy and story, easy is the way? Or easy, is a bit unlike most games, where it is "easier" by giving you more points to spend on? l do remember games(not F95) where easy is still not a walk in a park and you need to be on guard, but in a more relaxed way.

Hmm, yes, l remember Dragon Age Origins had a pretty good example of "easy" being relaxing combat but you still need to have heals ready.

It seems the animation sprite for the MC has become one of the grey ones after getting back from the Shapeshifter Tribe. Maybe it had something to do with the temp Val transformation? Earlier saves than the festival seem to have it show up. Any idea how to remedy?

Edit: Confirmed that it's the temp Val transformation during the festival that breaks your animation sprite from then on. Makes it the default gray instead of any of the MCs. Not choosing that keeps it working afterwards. As far as I'm aware there's no sprite reset anywhere in settings. The one at the bottom of the screen on a new day doesn't do it.

No shame for playing on easy, for some people getting good at the game's combat takes quite some time.

Yeah, I received another report about this. It'll be fixed in the next update (y)

l was asking if easy changes anything in the game, l wanted a more detailed information
Difficulties mostly just change your starting stat points and how fast you can level them. Naturally, having higher overall stats makes combat a bit easier, but you will still have to learn how the combat system works and figure out winning strategies if you want to get far.

In my opinion, the difficulty options impact more how difficult it is to clear stat checks in story events than anything else.

On easy, if you are dilligent with your training, you can pass pretty much every stat check in the game.
On normal, you will mostly only be able to pass checks on the stats you chose to specialize in.
On hard, you will probably fail all checks but the ones that only check for your best stats.

I personally prefer to play on Easy because it lets me clear all checks and take my pick of how I want to deal with different events (although it still requires some dilligent training). Normal is also fine if you are familiar with the game and already have a route of how you want to train your stats plotted out. Hard I don't enjoy much since I like to enjoy this game for the story, and Hard is a mode where you are pretty much limited to struggling to win in spite of your crappy stats.

Easy gives you more stats and stat gain, you prob can't just turn your mind off but it shouldn't be hard to build a build around one or two stats/attacks

Hard/masochist isn't struggling as much as hyper focusing on one stat and laying out your fights beforehand by initiating them when you got every advantage(they got bondage or low resources). Your main issue is group fights where your defensive stats struggle to survive focus fire. Cold guts, flaunt etc are all pretty important on those difficulties.

My point was more that figuring out how to win fights/farm merit is the only thing you work towards in higher difficulties. I'm less engaged with the whole "training to build up your character" aspect of the game if I'm going to inevitably fail 90%+ of all the stat checks I run into during story events and the most viable strategies involve just training the same stat over and over everyday.

It can still be an interesting challenge in itself and maybe worth doing at least once when the game has an ending and you can actually "win" it, but right now I personally don't find it fun to play on the "harder" difficulties compared to the "easier" ones (except for "baby" though, that's where you can legit shut your brain off while playing).

Not sure on that, my experience is 60-80 depending on if ur build is resilience or nah.
At least in month 1 most check are pretty low - in the early teens, and since the system means levelling just one stat is too expensive long term you can pick up some of the checks. Get the point tho, but at least the game often gives multiple options even if you fail the check to keep RP up. Personally i just like when i have to squeeze advantages in games, i dislike reloading too and prefer to instead have to plan and risk assess things, it then feels pretty great when your prep/forethought makes the difference between winning and losing.

I'd say that higher difficulty helps you feel like Rose/MC should also - as way behind her peers and having 2 be resourceful. Once you get familiar with the game i feel normal doesn't quite keep the MC behind the 8 ball as much as it does on your first playthrough. In general imo all difficulties are good for their intended purpose

New update is a major step in what is shaping up to be a very impressive game. Sprites for both MC and surrounding harem of competitors adds A LOT to the sexuality of the "fights".

Can we choose to be futa?
The default story is for the main character to transform into futa after the prologue.

There are settings you can use to alter the story so that the MC is the only futa in the main group, or the only woman that isn't futa in the main group, or make it so none of them transform into futa. But those settings are alternative "non-canon" ways of playing the game, the default story is for the MC and the entire main group of girls to transform into futa.

Why is this marked [VIRUS]?
Also, the new version is 2 parts, not one...
Unsure why it's marked as a virus, it's just the HTML file. The new version is only in 2 parts due to Patreon's 200MB file upload limit, but the images are identical to the ones in the free version, only the HTML file is different.

EDIT: "1/64 security vendor and no sandboxes flagged this file as malicious"
The one AV that flagged it is apparently a no-name Chinese AV whose English website closed down in 2013 and attempting to submit a false positive doesn't work.

Very enjoyable game so far! I'm impressed by how varied the systems let you get, and the writing is quite solid.

Feedback and minor nitpicks for the dev's consideration:
- Some stretches of the story I found myself skipping through without reading, usually after one or two full pages of dialogue filled with new worldbuilding names that all started to run together. I like to consider myself someone who cares about a great story in my games, but there was a lot of new names and very meaty stretches of conversations. But I had the exact same response to reading the Lord of the Rings, so maybe it's a me thing...
- The above point was greatly exacerbated by characters' nicknames being taken from the middle of their name... Even when the list of characters was on the side of the screen I spent most of the story squinting trying to figure out which nickname went with which character, especially in situations where they weren't color-coded (in another character's dialogue, for example)
- The sandbox is great, but it leaves me wishing I knew what content I didn't see. But I'm not sure it's possible to not land squarely on either the 'i know i've seen all the content so the sandbox becomes boring very quick' or the 'i don't know what i haven't seen so everything feels like there are infinite possibilities but i feel like i'm missing out' sides of things. I saw mentions on F95 of achievements or something, so I may have just missed that.
- virginities seemed to have exactly zero impact on anything, and weren't ever acknowledged in my playthough, either when taken or in story passages. Even the mildest dialogue reaction when it's taken would be an improvement in my book.
- kinda wish actual bad things could happen against monsters, unless I missed something... I spent so long trying to get my squad to lose to the reptiles, for nothing...
- I'm used to text-based sandbox games like this that are based around a fixed calendar showing the current date somewhere, and I missed that
- It would be really great if there was a common keyboard shortcut to advance text, or at least 'choose the first hyperlink', for people retreading stuff to find new content in the sandbox
- It seemed kinda strange that there was no option once sex starts to struggle or break free.
- I was hoping there would be support for potentially spying when NPCs left to have sex together, maybe at their rooms.
- I found myself avoiding interacting with people in the temple because I knew there was only procedural stuff and minimal handwritten, while the good stuff was always after sleeping. The part where you can get caught peeping was a great surprise and I think more moments like that (hand-written encounters placed in the explorable world) would go a long way
- I had a hard time getting used to some of the name colors, as they were bright red or green which are usually reserved for good and bad things in text based games
- I had a hard time wrapping my head around the battle system - why is the reaction to taking physical damage to lose lust? And why does lust hitting zero make your orgasm? shouldn't you cum when lust is filled up?
- Even with the super flexible simulation sandbox, the only different between one girl and the next seemed to be slight stat changes. Well, that might be an exaggeration, but I came into the game with a pretty strong idea of who I wanted to play ('innocent girl who protects her virginity at all costs') and even then I felt pretty aimless in the regular exploration sandbox. Maybe that's an issue that stems from the playstyle of playing bait and trying to get the NPCs to make a move on me, maybe it's related to some points I mentioned previously regarding unique content in the sandbox or content discoverability.
- NPCs stopped using bondage gear the week after the merchants came by, even way late game when I adjusted their dom stats and relationships though the roof, and I don't think I ever had the option to use the bondage gear I bought

(please believe me when I say that I typed all this out because I think the game is awesome :))

You lost the option to use it? That sounds like a bug. Can you send me a save file?

Don't worry, the "I absolutely adore Unholy Arts, now let me write an essay on things I'd like to see changed or added" is becoming a literary genre by this point.
