Welp, hopefully this will be better than the prior version, because that had some real bad performance issues for longer playtimes (which is sort of a given due to the sandbox nature) and that would inevitably lead to crashes. Sure, if you only play for like half an hour that might not be an issue, but some people have quite a lot of free time.
Had this happen on two seperate machines because between version releases I had to upgrade my rig.
Yep, actually it seems the issue on Unreal is that when you don't set a FPS limit, it does whatever it wants (and when I say whatever, I really mean whatever), and so yeah, I also had the experience of my processor overheating on a visual novel, it feels weird, especially with a config like mine...
Normally the issue is fixed (at least it doesn't happen anymore for me), but feel free to let me know if problems like that persist.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to fix the graphical issues people are experiencing, but for future versions, I'll try to minimize the requirements as much as possible.
You can try these solutions in the meantime, but I can't guarantee anything :

I played v1.07 for 3-4 hours without any crashes or performance issues. Probably that's because I used NW.js to make Linux-native build of this game.

I can play Skyrim with a lot of mods in ultra high quality, same with The witcher 3 and such, but for some reason my computer can't manage this game

Try and limit your fps to 60 and see what happens.

I tried to open the third part of the farm and it froze up when the mc says I don't want you to get hurt. can open the options menu but nothing more. figures...like a fool I didn't save the game for awhile and lost pretty much 75% of my progress...
