If that release has actual progress from the last update, which includes actual content, I could absolutely get behind a delay like that. But it would need to be an exceptional amount of content being added, a scope you rarely see in AAA games and never in smaller games like this.It's frightening how irresponsible people can be. There must be at least some responsibility to Patreon's subscribers...
As a developer, I understand that there can be different circumstances and that making games is actually quite difficult. But to delay the release for 6 months? Really?
And unsurprisingly, there is not nearly enough moving pieces and content in this game to justify how little they actually provide to the players. They reached the point in deluding subscribers that their monthly progress is basically a few typo fixes, a teaser pic, and remaking a static picture into Live2D.
