You're right, it's strange, it seems like it's another bug in the English MTL version, apart from the fact that the voice lines don't display in the scenes, the gallery doesn't work, the saves from the Japanese version don't work either and now the DLC doesn't open the new jobs + poetry I think that everything that can go wrong went wrong

verdict: the game with the English mtl is broken and it is not worth spending your time on this

unless someone fixes the problems or the company that translates releases a new patch, but for that you have to communicate the bugs

Has anyone got this to work with mtool? It doesn't even start when running it with mtool.

I just tried the compressed version over the last couple of hours and didn't run into any issues at all other than some minor text running off screen occasionally..... well aside from the annoying translations anyways.

Nobody is saying that the game is unplayable. If you really don't care about the errors mentioned, then yes, the game can be played. So it depends on each person



And the compression version has the same errors mentioned :

1- dont have voice in the scenes

2-you cant access to the dlc content in the south

3-the gallery dont save properly the scenes and you need to unlock all with the bear in your room after finish the game( the gallery dont have voice either)

4- we add a new one the texts go off the screen sometimes

5-If you don't care about these problems then play as much as you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

6- I have also read that the Chinese and Korean versions work well according to a user and there are no errors

I played for about 3 hours and didn't catch any error though. Besides AI TL is trash and voice acting only moans and shit, the rest completely playable.
And yeah DLC content is locked for some reason... But hey, not bad experience tbh. I had worse.

Man. MTL is really tough, half of the meanings changes and barely make any senses. I'm just gonna stick to the Mtool's ChatGPT version and import the image text from this version over. Hopefully it doesn't take Kagura early 2025 to get their version out.

The AI translation is mediocre - not quite the MTL poetry of the olden days, but definitely way off from DeepL and other modern translators. Not sure what was used here.

I think the best we can hope is if someone makes a GPT 4 translation, instead.
