Then started to arrive the students. I was waiting them, because I thought, that they will be beauties, too.
Not at all.
So why he need them? He has better at home.

But they are not beauties again!
Maybe Saira is cute. But others students. Why was necessary to put them into story?

Maddie has become a problem for me for a variety of reasons.

Patreon has banned blackmail-based sex. That happens in Part 1, which is no longer posted on Patreon, so the game is in a gray area.

Because of her three routes, I have to write three scenes for her every time anything lewd happens. The workload is enormous. In the next update, just for the different animations on the different routes, there are more than 2,800 animated frames, more than 3,100 in total. That slows down the rest of the update.
I have been thinking about a solution for several days. You know I had said that I would give the option (for the FemDom and MaleDom routes) to converge with the romance route keeping the domination kinks. It was going to be an option that could be declined.

That would partially solve the first problem, but would aggravate the second, as we would go to five scenes (Romance, Romace with FemDom kink, Romance with MaleDom kink, Femdom and MaleDom). I'm saying that a scene with Maddie would require over 5,000 renders. It's unmanageable for me.

Considering that the pure FemDom and MaleDom routes left Maddie out of the harem, I've come to a determination which is why I'm writing this post.

In v.0.17, Maddie is going to continue with all three routes, the scenes are almost written and rendered and I'm not going to throw that work away. Having Maddie in a parallel relationship to the harem doesn't make much sense for the development of the family, so, to me, what makes the most sense is that the convergence with the Romance route is forced. Sorry, you know I like to give options and respect your choices, but every time I have to do a scene with Maddie I die a little inside when doing the domination scenes. And so does the MC. I've discovered that there's a lot more laughter in the Romance route than the other two. He's not comfortable in that role.

Beyond 0.17 the route with Maddie will become Romance regardless of how it started. That route will have domination fetish, but it will be like a roleplay where they will experiment with domination, not pure domination. The change will be justified within the story before the next sexual encounter with Maddie.

Again, I'm really sorry I can't keep the three (five) routes separate, but between the changes in Patreon's ToS and the delay caused by every Maddie scene, I think it's for the best.

And no, this is not a delayed April Fools' Day joke.

I really believe that you will handle the problem with the best result for the game. Some limitation of side plots will certainly improve the continuation of the story. All your solutions so far have been well planned and thought out. And apparently you have an idea for solving this problem. IMO Maddie could be a little submissive. Just to diversify the relationship. And she seems to like it.

I tend to agree. I don't have a problem with BDSM in a game, but it depends on how it's done. And in My Dorm it always did feel a little 'out of place'. But I also don't think it 'hurt' the game. Sorry Trop.

Never been big on "full dom" routes personally - especially if they ended up getting abusive - but a little back and forth (this time she leads, next time he does or he tosses her on the bed and tosses her salad then she retaliates by rotating over him and plopping down and waiting for a tap on her thigh telling her he can't breath) can be fun, especially if they're both enjoying it.

I never wanted to go full dom on Maddie's paths. The MC isn't that into it, as will be seen in 0.17 (FemDom path). His personality and being hard-dominated aren't compatible. And he prefers romance over hard-dominating. The merge Rom-Dom was planned since the start, what will disappear is the choice to keep the FullDom paths without Romance (which will lead to a relationship not integrated into the harem, but parallel to it).

When I wrote her story, the choice to merge the Dom and Rom paths was planned (that's why it said "This path may prevent Maddie from joining the harem". That "may" meant that choosing down the road to keep the Pure Dom paths will prevent it. What I will drop is the choice.

My shower today provided an idea I will explore in the next days (while showering ), and I think everyone (except those who wanted a heavy dom relationship) will be happy.

I agree. The MC tried the FemDom kink. He didn't like it as much as he thought he would. He's much more comfortable in the MaleDom role. But, above all, he likes more his Romance paths. Since the "What If" menu will be there in 0.17, I recommend playing the three scenes to see how they behave in similar circumstances but in different roles.

No need to be sorry. It started as an experiment (for me and the characters) and it has allowed us (I and the characters) to grow and discover where our place is in this regard. Playing the three scenes will show what I mean.

I'll just be completely honest, I don't like how maledom and femdom, dom/sub relationships, and BDSM in general is represented and categorized in these games. It's not very often that I find a game, that I believe implements these fetishes in a way that respects the BDSM fetish umbrella as a whole with respect or care. I tend to agree with Motseer in the sense that, femdom doesn't really make sense in this game, the MC has never displayed anything remotely resembling a submissive personality. And in harem games in general, the femdom kink usually feels out of place, when the MC is the recipient at least.

I also can't stand when I see BDSM, and adjacent kinks being discussed as if they are this negative, evil thing, it really irks me. Just like any other fetish and/or group of kinks, when done with consent, enjoyment from both parties, and respect for the other person's boundaries, there's nothing evil, or inherently wrong about it. Yet, I often times see BDSM and adjacent fetishes/kinks, being discussed as if it's this icky, yucky thing, that people are afraid of or disgusted by. (Basically kink shaming tbh)

I'm not pointing at anyone in particular (it's more of a general observation), and I don't fault you trop for wanting to experiment with your game, and implement certain fetishes/kinks, even if you aren't particularly into them yourself. It's your game after all, and I always applaud devs for making the game they want to make. In fact, it irks me when people try to tell devs how to make their games. I encourage you to keep learning and improving on your game, and making it the way you want to trop, it's been an enjoyable ride thus far. I'm looking forward to seeing where the next update, and beyond, takes us.

Oh, and that scene with Meemaw at the doctor's office was damn funny at times, she was so over it.
