loved the game. Girl's model is excellent, at least something else than the usual bimbo we find in every other game.
She's maybe just a bit too naive/slutty for my taste (would prefer if the pitch was to convince her to do really nasty things although she's not into it, but i know most players like romance game)
Anyway, can't wait to play the next update.

There are more Characters planed, think of this as a what if.... so I'm sure Pixie will publish hotter characters, he likes to throw in some humor, maybe that is why he started with the most annoying/ funny character.

While I Patreon the more serious storyline that 'A father's Sins' has taken us.. I gotta admit 'Going to hell' is funny as shit... Love watching the facial expressions change on our itty bitty tittie girl as 'things' happen to her. Can't help but wonder which girl is next up and where the different timelines go. Nice work Pixieblink.. you warped son of a gun.. Two thumbs up!

I will post the patch about a week, as I usually do.
Available right here on this thread.

Hey, I get it. I understand why people get annoyed.
The other side of the coin being that if I can't make money as a dev the game isn't worth the candle.

This is me trying to find some middle ground.
Your approach is probably the one that turns me off the most when it comes to supporting a dev.
the worst one I would accept is a dev posting the previous version for free when the next version gets released.
sure people will leak for some brownie points here and there.
At the end of the day it's up to you how you do it. Most people though, when they download a game and it's "go to patreon to get the full game" I don't think they actually go to patreon to give you money, to actually play the game properly.
Their first feeling is annoyance and/or anger thinking scumbag dev and they delete the game off their hard drive.
I would bet money that's the most common scenario. The question remains if you snag more subs from having it locked behind a paywall or a secret code, people love to leak games and not provide those, sometimes I think the devs do that on purpose as well. Or from just having a good game that is not restricted in any way up to a week or so early for patreons.
Kinda hard to figure out honestly, you would need 2 of the same game on two different patron accounts and for some reason 50% of people who click on it get one type and the other 50% the other. But even then you would need a larger sample size than the most popular games get to actually get an accurate assessment. So I can only waffle about what I think is what would happen, and I think making the potential customer annoyed and mad isn't the best way.
But with that said. I don't mind waiting for a week. playing a censored version makes absolutely no sense to me. So I'd rather not even know about the existence of a censored version honestly. Keep the previous version uncensored in the op instead.
Again I'm just waffling my opinions here.

If I rate games with 1 star like here it gets removed. Even if I do it properly. I'm flagged somehow I'm sure. Improper yada yada removed. Anyway, moral of the story is that it's something people should consider on this site and many times remove a star from just about any game. Just two years ago or such the ratings were usually quite accurate. Not so much anymore. I guess something happened that they got directions to try and remove reviews that are less than 3 stars? Or they just have many people flagged.

I appreciate your comment, and you taking the time to post it.

Honestly I'm trying to walk a fine line here between creating games and not being able to pay my bills.

I've been making games for a few years now, and I've tried several of the strategies you've mentioned.

My first couple of games I simply asked for donations.

I also tried the full releases available 4 weeks before the publicly released version.

Then I tried paywall. Which works very well indeed compared to the nag-screens I'm doing now. But I personally don't like it. It seems... excessive. And it hugely limits the # of people that will play my games. It seems like a silly point to make, but I actually enjoy creating VNs and hope that people will enjoy it. The more, the better.

Money isn't everything. But it IS something.

I do have a couple of friends that are offering their games (not AVN's) as free downloads + pay for upgrades & bonus content. Which is by FAR the way to go if you're just looking to bank out.

Anyways, this is getting to be rather lengthy reply.

Thanks for your honest feedback, it IS very much appreciated. And I'm always open to new ideas or a better way of doing things. If anyone just had a stroke of genius reading this DO feel free to drop it here? Or msg me directly if you prefer.

I also do not understand why not to have put this opus at the end of the original game?
Since the MC is a Catholic priest in the original title, it is understandable that there is no sex.
Even if we see a lot of implausible things in games...
In any case, good luck for this Pixieblink opus.
That hasn't stopped them from banging nuns and little boys .-.

This side game is really unnecessary ... just add little more sexual content into main game... I was even thinking about donating, but after seeing this that means the main game will get less attention and less content...
