I really like the progress bar, telling you how much story is left. I wish more VNs did that.
Yes!does this game have any animated kissing stuff?
Going to take an educated guess and say it will be released when ready??? Seriously.....last estimate was sometime in March for patreon supporters, maybe the weekly update tomorrow will bring some good news as to progress Should be a great episodeia being 3 month...when does next update will release?
Don't worry the dev is working full time on this now so updates should come faster...ia being 3 month...when does next update will release?
Dev said he aim for this month.ia being 3 month...when does next update will release?
That is the goal, but since I was able to make only 400/1100 scenes (renders+animations) in January, releasing the game this month, might be a tight window. The goal didn't changed, but it doesn't look good.Dev said he aim for this month.
my initial goal was before Christmas
then January
I hope it will be sometime in February,
My initial goal was to finish this episode in February
I need to release this episode in February, but I don't see how
So if it's not done in February then I'm sure it will be done in March
The same reason why many are against using AI. If graphics are rendered quickly they won't have enough time to milk people.<It doesn't come through in the quotes but Merin showed the dev saying the update was supposed to come in Dec then Jan then Feb now saying Feb not likely>
This is one of the main reasons why I simply refuse to participate in this bizarre modern system of paying for games via Patreon subscriptions. I am not going to freaking pay to help beta test a game as it is being developed (and the vast majority of which ultimately end up getting abandoned.) This is a fundamentally broken model that actually rewards devs for taking longer to do work. This is why you never pay a contractor a daily rate to remodel your kitchen, you agree upon a flat rate for the whole job - if you made it a daily rate, it would magically take way longer. This is not rocket science.
If and when a game is 100% finished I will happily pay a reasonable price for it, just like any other game.
This system of handing over money every month for years and years and years to some dev to keep working on a game, is some next level cuck bullshit. (And also the amount some of you guys pay over the long term is absurd, you can buy finished games, including yes H games, for like a fraction of what you wind up paying out in Patreon donations.)
And for the record this problem is not unique to adult games. You see the same exact problem with the whole "early access" program on Steam.
Well, people are invested in this game, paid or not, so they actually feel bad when Dev's delay updates again and again. It's only natural. For folks upset about the delay, remember if you aren't backing on Patreon, this is nothing to worry about because you're not paying anyway. I always encourage anyone who is impatient or gets frustrated about development delays, etc. just don't get on Patreon and wait for a Steam release to pay for the product (payment upon receipt like in a normal store for a product, etc.) if you like it and want more of it and that should help keep you relaxed.
Patreon is more for people who want to actively help the developer get a project completed since they generally need funding for the project (hardware, assets, etc.). I only back one project on Patreon currently (Summer's Gone), and it's a very low dollar amount. No More Money is probably my 2nd favorite game on this site just because of how well Jason is handling the mom / sis routes. I'd jump on his Patreon if he ever gets the music situation resolved - I can't tell you all how bummed out I was when the music had to get removed because Jason does such a great job selecting music that fits the scenes, and especially syncs with some of the animations (Tris blowjob scene, holy crap that was well-done before the music got zapped).
Lool, preach...Is there a petition we can sign to make him go back to work in this game part-time?
I think he was way more regular when he had a full time job and only did this game part-time.
Yep I totally get how you feel. Just trying to put forth something positive to focus on that for folks who aren't on Patreon, it's not like they're out anything monetarily. Can always reward the Dev with money after they've had a chance to play it on an official platform like Steam - for the vast majority of games I play, that's where I buy them once I've checked them out here. Anytime I get to the end of the game and ask myself "do I want more of this?" that's when I buy if the answer is yes.Well, people are invested in this game, paid or not, so they actually feel bad when Dev's delay updates again and again. It's only natural.
The music in this game is one of the huge reasons why I like this game. I even have some of the songs in my Spotify. It's unfortunate that he had to remove some songs. Couldn't he just buy the copyright of those songs.
I would love to have the list of those deleted songs
btw summer's gone is even more irregular when it comes to updates.
The episodes I was making before doing this full time were simpler. Is there a petition we can sign to make him go back to work in this game part-time?
