Just seems this is a game that could make the developer good money if we had updates on a regular basis. Check this out every few days - hoping.

Game has been out for almost 3 years now, I don't think this will ever have regular updates. I will be surprised if he releases another one. Could've been a great game, but it's time to let it rest in peace.

As a general rule, when there is an abandoned tag, it means that there will be no more updates...

Happy New Year! Here's something to help kick the year off right for all the True Bond fans out there. It's David's POV from the scene Danny peeked in on earlier in the game. It's was made by Cloudlet as part of my Patreon reward from a long time ago. I hope Cloudlet returns soon with good news and an update!

No, no and no...
Wrong, wrong and wrong.
The game was on hiatus for a year between the last update and the one before it, ofcourse it was tagged as Abandoned which was then removed and unfortunately had to be put back on recently.

It's not like the mods can peer into the future to determine whether the game is getting updated or not or like it's some sort of a binding spell that prevents the devs from coming back to their projects. Devs do come back sometimes, don't be silly.

Guys. He last updated this game 7 months ago. I enjoy this game as much as you do. However, after 3 months, I wouldn’t bother to look forward to shit..
Be smart Patrons, you’re wasting money

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you're doing fine!
Wall of text incoming.
I'm seeing some comments on me milking, cancellating of subs etc. I'll address some of the things in them here in an orderly fashion as some sort of Q&A.

"We pay for the game" - no, you don't. The game is free, you can play it regardless of your status. You pay to support the developer/the development of the game, more precisely, the development of the current update.

"What's the difference?" - first of all, yeah, I know there wasn't something like that in the comments, it's a follow-up question that might occur. Paying for the game is not optional, it directly affects your ability to play the said game. Paying to support the development is voluntary, it's your decision.

"if u dont release it until next year, i cancel my sub, this is milking" - it's not, but you're free to think whatever you want, it's your money after all.
Huh, I guess, there weren't many different points to address. Or, maybe, I missed some? I'll throw in my 2 cents:
As a disclaimer I'd like to say that I'm talking only for myself and noone else. If you get the feeling that I'm milking or too slow, writing too bad, images too boring/dark/anything else you might think of - just unsub. Don't wait for the next month to see how it goes, save your money and unsub - I will still keep developing, the game will still be released and you will still be able to play it. If it makes you frustrated to the point that you threaten with unsubbing or announce you're leaving - surely unsub, save yourself some nerve cells!
Speaking of the threat of unsubbing. What's the thought process behind it? Do you think I'm sitting here with a done update just "ehehe, the update is done but I'm not releasing it, gonna milk them, muahah"? No. Or, perhaps, you think that will speed me up? I'm stressed as fuck just by myself and you're not helping. If anything, you're making it a bit slower cause now I'm sitting here writing this instead.
Wanted to say something else, but I forgot what it was by the time I got to this point.
Anyway, sorry for a grim post. I actually do appreciate your support very much! Thank you for it! I am working, I know it takes too long, that's completely my fault, but we're getting there!
Once again, Happy New Year! Have fun on the holidays, if you've got any!
Stay safe out there!

You know when Dev's make an announcement after a long absence they mostly address their post with bunch of sorries, cause of radio silence?, current progress report, what's left to be done for the update or in rare cases surprise us with a update.
This guy only just did a huge rant on "only give me money if you want to, otherwise just fuckoff" lol, wtf even does that:LOL:.
Man I really want to see all his subscribers unsubing and find out if he'll keep developing like he said he would.

Dev is right. Subscribe, or don't subscribe. It's up to the individual. What's so difficult? All this whinging about how the Dev is milking. Definitely not worth the grief for a few bucks a month. It's literally lunch money. Sad little people.
Every game with a long update cycle or unforeseen problems has a slew of people crying in the comments who have probably never even subbed to any of these games before.
It happened loads with LoML, people crying constantly who get a free game and the updates are huge, like hours long.
One of the main problems is the lack of taste, so many people think the update cycle of the garbage slop that is 90% of the games here should be the same update cycle as the pure gold games.

Admittedly Cloud has not helped himself with so little contact, I think a monthly or weekly message to say I am alive would of helped calm the crying retard masses for a day or two each time.

He shouldn’t let people support him if he is no longer operating like a damn Dev. The people are only paying so that he can continue being a Dev. Not a damn slacker. The people have say once you accept their money. That is shit he just said to us there. People wake up.

No, you are donating in hopes of giving him time to follow a hobby. You are not contracting him to make something so you actually have no entitlement to anything.
Only donate what you can afford to lose and write it off there and then emotionally.
If he provides we get the next chapter in one of the top tier games, if not well we have plenty of others to enjoy.
Don't take this so personal and if it really is that big of an issue then make your own game and prove these people wrong, prove them that after five years you will be as diligent and passionate and on time as you were at the start.

I agree with you in a sense. It's sad that you support a developer and he is negligent towards his supporters. But I also agree with Cloudlet, he does this as a little fun. Whether you support it or not, if there is an update, you will play. In my opinion, if he does update the game, we will have some news about backers and what things will be like from now on.
