I don't remember exactly the procedure, I tried it just to understand what it was like and I immediately deleted it while waiting for a "richer" version.
Once you open the menus with the shortcuts you should drag(?) the monsters into the slots
Go back to your base, there should be a squad-forming menu there. Once you have some squads, you can send them to battle.

with another redesign to combat, who knows, maybe the next test will come out around november.
The game is great as a proof of concept, and I would love to see the development - but the tags in this thread are seriously wrong.

As much as I like the game I have to agree. We need tag consistency and accuracy in the games that are posted. I actually played a game for awhile that ended up having something I didn't like further in the game and there was no tag for it. Totally wasted my time. I honestly wish the site devs would get on game devs for not doing it because it happens a lot. My guess is on this one that it either will have those things which like you state it needs to be what is currently in the game or they used the same tags they did for Monster Black Market which again if that is the case is still inaccurate as it is not what is in this game at this time.

Is't it time to change overview to new "tower defence" theme or to put a note that the concept of the game is in the process of development. You can write that this is a new game from the creators of MBM, originally it was supposed to be like MBM2, then DD, then a game like Goblin Borrow, and now it's tower-defense. but it can be changed again.

I don't know how to say but it's feel like at this point the developer team is overworked themselves. The among of work for this game is much more than MBM , since MBM only focus on sex animation with one female base but this game have RPG classes and race combine.
Seriously i just hope the team don't drop this project in middle.

. If you didn't try it, I suggest you to do so. It plays pretty different to a release one, UI is different, hunger mechanic intact, etc.I agree with you and share some concern, but my point is things can change at any point of development. We'll just wait ProjectR's v0.2 and see. I also doubt this is a final game's name.
Current game's plan seems like a middle ground for their initial idea, with actual combat part intact.
Thank you for early access versions , IDK why but i like the 0.1 ver more . The food and gems gone make final version gameplay feel better. But the silly hairs of the goblin in 0.1 make me laugh , sadly they gone in final ver.

Devlog update.
We're getting a tower defense game with enemy rarities, so I imagine the higher the rarity of enemies the more useful they'll be as breeders.
That all sounds wonderful to me, the only thing I'm concerned about is that you can get goblin females from goblins breeding with humans. In the worst of situations it means they're not usable as slaves but in the best of situations it opens up HEAPS of potential female hybrids to use as units or slaves. Orc hybrids could be a thing of beauty whether they go in the chubby/muscular direction but we're likely talking about bigger races like lamia and minotaur hybrids as well. They're one of the few circles that actually bother with body diversity for both genders, so all this stuff (and probably more) is on the table.
I just hope that goblins and other monsters (and their female hybrids) become potential enemies so we can use them as slaves alongside obtaining them from monster-human crossbreeding. If the goblin females were to only become a new type of unit you cannot use for breeding it'd their first step in the wrong direction. I don't think they're unaware that people love their shortstack race inclusions so this probably won't happen.

I probably know what it means. Here's an explanation from technical standpoint:
Default sprite slots will come with only one unique/max. two sprite variations. Like, there's 2 sprites to display medium and big tits for a Nun character. And only one sprite for a default thighs size.
While it limits customization it can boost variety of available characters/races for devs to make.
Now the big question remains if they'll keep file structure and codebase similar to the first demo. If they'll keep it, then modding won't be a problem and I'll keep adding sprites/new tits-thighs size/port stuff from MBM (like hairs).
If it changes too much and/or they'll switch to il2CPP builds for some reason, well, in that case I won't guarantee anything.
Too much guessing at this point.
