So... new patch? Is it an actual game now? I remember spending a lot of time running around empty spaces just to tediously catch slaves for what amounted to a janky and limited scene gallery lol.

Just came here to say the same. Yea I recognize the name, It's a different game. Someone put up the wrong link I guess.
First, he does the same as uploader - which uses file hosting "there is 90%, and now you can pay or wait 5 hours to get last 10%" and reacts "feel free to re-upload".
Second, I would abstain of biased epithets.

Eh, anonfiles is slow and MEGA locks you out if you don't have an account, and trying to trick the system with a VPN is finnicky. So it's understandable that some would be upset by it. Personally, as someone with a premium MEGA account, I appreciate files being uploaded to MEGA, because it's fast, easy, and secure.
Mega won't lock you out, you just can't download more than 5Gb per 24 hours. If a file is over 5 Gb you have to "wait" until you can resume your download. You can use mega, just keep in mind of your total data usage. My pref goes to gofile -> mega -> pixeldrain. Pixeldrain used to be higher in my prefs but since they halved their download speed and amount of data that can be downloaded for free, this year, they dropped to 3rd place for me =P

Came back to see if the game made any QOL changes or gameplay changes in general for a better player experience. Nothing really changed. First island is all I've played still because I do not have the patience to kill time just running across a giant map with little to no content for most of the island. It's still boring and frustrating to travel for an hour just to see a few things. The island mapping quest is still a thing with its ludicrous "exploration" of the island to fuck off far sides of the still mostly empty island.
The reward for any exploration of the island is not worth the travel time.
This needs to be fixed because this is this biggest turn off for playing the game. This isn't a hardcore survival game, put a damn fast travel system in! Whether that be something like Skyrim map fast travel or some physical waypoints dotting the land to use.
Otherwise this game will remain not fun to play.
