i just put it here, :D
i have older generation clothes for v4, for poser in daz
first, how to compress them? someone tell me, you can't compress it
so, how to delete morphs in them? maybe it will reduce the size

etc, one clothes for v4, but so much morph in there, how to deleted morphs in it? not delete it in daz parameter
but i want to delete it permanently, i don't understand to delete it manually

thank you

Before post-work:

The only real difference is the post image has glows, questionable blurs, and a little color balancing. As I've stated in DA, I don't like the colors around her breasts and arms; they're too yellow, and I should have paid more attention to that and shifted the hue angle to compensate with a layer mask to isolate things, but it was rushed.

As for my post-process workflow: yeah, I'm still trying to figure that out myself; it's always changing, for better and worse ...
Thanks epw14. I was curious to know whether the glow effects you achieve were purely from post processing or created in Daz.

Over the past few days have been attempting to improve the model above by adding fine contour details to the skin to give a 3D effect to the skin moles. Tried bump and displacement maps and even a geoshell, however unable to achieve what I was seeking due to mesh detail employed on the model.

I was also planning on setting up another image series similar to my "The Island" series, based upon a strip poker game, however ran into problems getting the renders to converge to my satisfaction (see spoiler below). Tried a number of things to fix it, however problem seems to reside around the quantity of characters used and the overall geometric complexity of the scene. Will likely try to render again when Daz 4.11 is released officially (non alpha / beta), however going to park the series until then.

Thought I would share some of my experiences, to show that achieving good results often takes some prior failures.

One of the main characters from my game. Do critic! View attachment 161712
It's a nice character and a good render. It may just be the expression used, however the character nose / mouth seems a little pinched (rabbit like). Perhaps a wider mouth positioned a little lower would improve the character slightly.

For skin detail use shadows to convey the shapes and highlights to convey detail. Your best bet may be to mess with the specularity/glossiness/reflectivity maps, often you can cheat and just put the bump map in there for decent results. Maps in those will yield better results than simply tweaking their values and something like a bump map with the contrast cranked up can look really cool on 3d models. However, for distant shots like your example those fine details either won't show well or may look fake/exaggerated unless it's a high contrast studio look you want.

Lol, if I did that we'd need a new 300 page thread :)

Yeah, it's the expression, I wanted her to just so slightly open her mouth, but I will certainly check what you mentioned isn't a recurring theme. I've been satiated working on the Daz Characters.

Not even HD details? I might be wrong but fiddling with the glossy and translucency colors, ie getting them to a darker color tone than the base color brings out more details from the skin and also the clothes.

Really quick and simple render with an hdri. Trying out a new hair product for her, I'm liking it pretty well. Lots of included morphs and movements help a lot.

More so, I'm trying to nail down my work flow. Because LaQuisha here is busty it makes fitting shirts pretty hard. For this one I imported both her and the shirt in Marvelous Designer and fit it in there and did my cloth sim in their and then exported the morph back into daz and applied it to the base shirt. Only problem is if I apply a new pose the shirt will have to be refitted and redone each time. Normally what I've been doing is simply apply the pose in daz and then exporting the character out, importing that into MD as a morph target and letting it auto fit in there but I'm wondering if anyone here uses MD and has a nice workflow they use that's better than mine?

Otherwise, quite happy with the fit and her look/skin.

This time just playing around with lighting and trying to do a quick render. This thing render in about 3 minutes and got to 1% convergence. Stopped it because honestly didn't see any benefit from going further. Kind of crazy. Some tweaks in post and bam, nice little home setting for my main character.
