The developer, in a personal conversation, says that he continues to work on creating this game. The update, according to him, may be released at the end of this year or early next year. That is, until the moment when he plans to release the update, it remains to wait another six months.

I do not suggest anyone to believe or disbelieve these words, time will pass and we will see everything.

But personally, I will be upset if I don't see the continuation of this game, I really liked it.

Even if he releases update i'm over it and surely won't downloading it when it comes. For all i care i'm passing it.

For some I guess this is true, but for me, I keep an eye on all of my money, if a subscription is of no value to me anymore (in this case if I was a sub to this dev), it would be cancelled, I don't reward laziness.

you are actually in the minority for that, a lot of businesses like netflix operate on the assumption that their customers are just going to forget about their subs because after a certian time, its just becomes completely natural that you can watch netflix anytime you want, youre paying for it anyways

My best guess would be that the Dev realised that instead of creating a full game they could just do wallpapers and still get a ton of money makes most sense to me less work and same amount of income

Ehh, he's slowly dwindled down to 1/10th of his high. I had a morbid curiosity and scrolled back through his posts. The next release was "almost ready" 3 years ago. Just strange to keep up the wallpapers and sneak peaks.

While there's $ to milk for doing next to no work, of course he's going to keep doing it, the only way to stop it is for every sub to leave.

Cant remember, it hasn't been update for years and even though the renders are amazing there has been no requirement to play it again.

He is right though, as i already said. We can make the update ourselves with all the Monthly "previews" lel.

With his +3 years wallpapers campaigns and evasive behavior, TTLL officially became the number 1 most untrustworthy Dev ever seen since F95 creation in 2016 and trust me, I'm here since the beginning. Dude got 0 shame and still thinks he's doing nothing wrong. His audacity/cheekiness is out of this world.
