I also suspect that it could be Peter, Dick and Ana, each of them certainly would have motive at least to some extent, but there is a 4th person I can think of, although admittedly it's a quite the stretch and I HIGHLY doubt it, I don't think the person would be able to do something like that, but Rena comes to mind. Ever since Megan landed the lead role in that big Amish play and then got the audition for a movie and even landed the role, and I'm also quite sure Rena has more feelings for MC that she lets on, Rena has been incredibly jealous of Megan, as you can probably tell, sleeping with MC just out of spite (though she felt bad afterward) and so on. I'm just saying that jealousy is a VERY strong emotion, people have committed monstrous deeds out of jealousy, that's why I can't rule her out as one of the culprits until I'm proven wrong, and I sure as hell hope that I'm wrong

I’m not sure - i’ve played through several times and in a couple Rena resolves her differences with Megan and MC before final scene ( I know it’s already decided but save Melissa! )

With the way Episode 5 ended, and was resolved in the beginning of this episode, it gives me hope. I was distraught and replayed several scenarios trying to figure out a way to NOT escort Melissa in the police car. It was a forced scenario that Peter would enter the house with Megan. Both episodes 5 and 6 kept me up all night in panic after finishing, because it is so well written.

This choosing between those two is extremely hard for me. They both embody very good personalities and have both gone through struggles (although very different). The writing is so good that I would choose no other girls in this game. Leah is far too much of a freak for me, and Rena became jealous and petty. Melissa and Megan are both candid and honest souls, so it would be impossible for me to choose between them. They both have so many parts of my own personality within their characters.

I really feel for Liam. I have never had a friendship last over a few years (my ex inherited all of them), but the backstory of him and the MC really shows just how reliable and caring he and the MC are for one another. I could only dream of having a friend that good, and the troubles he's having are not deserved.

Watch. The final episode will be the MC waking from the coma, never having actually had any of this happen, but seeing all of these people in passing through the city. Maybe in the closing scene he'll decide to go take some 'Acting Lessons'. :coldsweat:

There has been a lot of back-and-forth lately about Ana. Some have posited that the actions of Ana and Jonas are basically equivalent when it comes to cheating. I would like to point out that Ana's cheating is written into the plot. The choice of whether Jonas cheats or not is entirely up to the player. If Jonas is a cheater, you, the player made him so.

Don't take this as an insult, as I have routes that go in both directions. So I am just as guilty, in those routes, of making Jonas a cheater as anyone else. Just keep it in mind if you think Jonas is a scumbag cheater.

( Melissa and Megan were sleeping at the time ) also there is the “set up”with at least three or four different characters ( Peter , Dick , Ana and initial robber - though admittedly the last ones a stretch ) - all of them have motive... lunatic/dick , evil/Pete and scorned/Ana ;all know where the main protagonist live ( except robber ) ps sorry don’t know how to do that spoiler thing

Well yes... there are a ton of suspects. But that's not the issue. Never really has been. The issue is far more that the set up itself is pretty poor for the event itself in that we are missing several crucial things the audience needs to see in order for it to not come off as a soap opera level plot twist. Could it be Peter? Maybe, some claim it CAN'T be... for certain reasons which I'm not too clear on... but he's a suspect. Ana and Dick I find as far more unlikely assuming logic... as there are ways you could play it with them wherein I think giving them the motivation to burn down the house would really be a stretch. So while it might work in some scenarios, in others it would seem strange at best.

Even assuming that we get the best explanation in the history of explanations, that also still doesn't solve the tonal whiplash issue. This again started very specifically at the end of Episode 5 and continued into the beginning of episode 6.

Liam's stuff works because we have been with him from the beginning. He's the stand out character of the work, and his entire arc not only informs his actions but drives the actions of EVERYONE around him. The bucket list is now a thing... and everyone likes him and want to see him be happy and recover. The tonal shift in his cancer scenes works because of the fact that it was set up for I think two full episodes before the reveal... and it made complete sense when it came out which is why everyone praises it, and rightly so. Everything about it makes sense... before and after.

I just wish that was the case with the later dramatic twists.

Even one day after finishing the last episode it still bothers me how it ended, especially that you have to make the decision before the end and not in the next episode. Maybe someone else will come to the rescue to save the other girl (sorry Megan, I like you, but Melissa is love, Melissa is life) or maybe it really becomes some kind of Vanilla Sky story.

How I see it at the moment, there are three possible scenarios. It's either real, which sucks, because nobody wants to see Liam and one of the girls die, it's some kind of coma fantasy or the name acting lesson has a double meaning, not only to the character Megan, but the whole story as well - maybe they're all part of a play/movie or an improv session.

That's the path I took personally for the main save. I played a few of the other scenarios out just to see what could happen, but my favorite way to play was to not mess around with Melissa after things became official with Megan. I was still dating them both once Megan gave her approval. It's all about how you go about it, and the Dev has given us a LOT of options to work from. :evilsmile:

Only scene I got this update was with Melissa if you have been with her (and Megan) the whole game and haven't rejected her.

You know it's kind of interesting but for being the main girl Megan gets the least number of actual sex scenes so far of the main girls. Melissa by Episode 6 has a total of 4 big scenes... each of which is sexual in a more than kissing way. Hell... Angela and Hedwig have individual and group scenes. Rena has two full scenes too and she's a distant third in importance in how she was set up in the narrative. Megan is nice... outgoing... super sweet and understanding. Not underhanded in the least... and also the least sexually active character in the game. That makes me wonder how much that fact has to to with what seems like the majority of commenters picking the trainwrecks that are Melissa and Rena over Megan. And I love Melissa to death... but man I've known girls like her... emotional baggage doesn't cover it. Emotional U-hauls more like.

So, I do not often write comments. but fuck, this game is something. I waited a long time for the enough content, just hoping for a good game, but how could I be wrong. This game is not just good, it's a fucking masterpiece! Maybe it's an emotion, or just not enough gaming experience (although I do not think so), but it seems to me that this is the best game in the genre of erotic novels.
There are a lot of good games on this site, some are very popular, but none of them compare with this one. Firstly, characters, they are prescribed so well that you begin to see in them real people, with their own feelings, and individual traits of character. Some of them you like (not in the sense that you want to fuck them ... well, that too but this is not the main reason), and some of you hate it and it's real feelings.
The second is a plot, not that he tore templates, but for an erotic novel he's pretty damn good. The best thing about him is Liam, he's a fucking generator of excellent, funny and sad situations. Probably this is the best male character I've seen in games of this type, a real bro, which is too ideal for real life (I wish everyone such a bro as Liam)
And of course renderings and models, they are excellent, just fucking excellent ... nothing more to add.
DrPinkCake, if you're reading this, then you should know ... You're damn talented (really, have you made a deal with the devil?). I wish you progress and creative development, success and desire to make such excellent games.
I would like Acting Lessons to live for a long time, but this is your creation and you better know what to do with it. And yes, you are a drama master, but do not overdo it, okay? I certainly love all the gloomy shit, but still ... I hope you know what you're doing with us)
