Im not sure what's so unbelievable about it personally. People die from housefires every single day--grown adults and children alike. The cause of death is usually smoke inhalation. It's very very possible that they were asleep when the fire started and didn't awaken until it was too late.
If I'm planning to kill two sleeping girls by setting their house ablaze, I'm pulling the batteries out of the smoke detector before I do it.
I personally could sleep through a train blazing through the walls of my house so I believe it's possible they only woke up when it was too late.
Also, the mc busted the window open, severely bloodying and injuring one of his arms. Let's say you're inhaling thick plumes of smoke, you can't use one arm, and you're more or less standing in a furnace. Your eyes and lungs would be burning, you'd be sweating like a pig, and the blood loss would be making it even worse. Now put all of those things together and try to pull two fully grown adults out of a building simultaneously while a fire is quickly spreading around you.
While some would call this combination of events "lazy writing" I'd call it demonstrably possible. Those saying this "couldn't happen" are simply false. It absolutely does happen and it usually starts with a small fire. The thing with tragedies like this- they're often avoidable--however, one thing after another goes wrong and the chips land in just the right order. This seems to be what happened here.
That doesn't mean that it couldn't have been avoided--that there could've been other or better ways to save them or that things could've went differently. Of course things could have went differently. That's almost always the case when tragedy strikes. It's not until after the fact that you realize things could've went 100 different ways and live with regret for the rest of your life over "what could've been."

Dont get me wrong I dont expect you to read back like 20 pages, but when I did my ranking of the girls going in blind, and then later re-did them at the end of act 3, they changed dramatically... Rena cost herself 1st place down to third for that stunt she pulled at the cabin...
That said I never saw the chemistry between her and Liam, she teases him in a humiliating way, and he gets annoyed by her, and no this isnt one of those cases where "its due to sexual tension"... Its more Rena is kind of a brat that speaks her mind, and Liam is immature (acting that way due to illness)... you put those two personalities together in a party, and Rena is going to do her best to look cool by making a fool of Liam (which she does, and not subtlety).
However I think your right in that its going to end up being the pairing unless the MC screws over the other two girls that clearly need him more to try to get Rena... The other game that is loosely connected to this one even mentions this horrible "ship"... Rena tells her uncle Jensen how she acted like a brat, but thankfully a "cool guy named Liam" showed her the error of her ways... /sigh

Also last thing, you only kick Liam out of your car like an asshole due to him confronting the MC about his previous "decision"... When he asks you who you are picking, or what your there for at the cabin party, be honest if your trying to be a harem douche...
If you told him how you only love Missy or Megan, or both (he understands and respects that, but will get offended if you try to hurt those two by banging other chicks)... therefore if you tell him about Rena he calls you on your BS and you throw him out of your car...
If you however told him your playing the field for all its worth... it may cost you some respect points initially with him, but he doesnt get angry at you for banging Rena, therefore no argument, therefore no kicking out of car...

After reading so many interesting posts about the ending of ep6 i wonder,which one would be better? Dev giving us the finger on the perfect Meghan/Melissa ending or pulling a deus ex machina saving both and ruining all the tension?

This episode hit me right in the feelings. So emotional!!
This story has me deeply involved! And it's kinda sad that it will only have 2 more episodes.
I just hope it ends in the best way possible.
The way the episode ended left me with a bittersweet taste. Can't way for the next episode!!

Him ghosting her and cutting her out of his life is not "left from the house like a wimp". He denied her exactly what she wanted. That's a pretty tailor-made revenge, leaving aside the fact that ghosting is a pretty brutal hit to someone in the first place.
If she wanted to stay in his life but he wasn't giving her what she wanted any more, it's on her to communicate that and on him to meet her at least halfway. Doing stupid abusive shit to "test" the MC and then getting mad that he didn't "fight for her" is what emotionally immature teens do.
stay silent and ignoring her is the best thing you can do (it makes pll very angry if you dont play they game ) i did it irl (see my last post)(and yes ofcouse i was pissed as hell) i just put her stuff outsite and changed the locks and never spook to her for 12 years
giving someone the silent tritment is the worst punisment you can give hahaha and by doing that you are not a wimp but brave (dont play they game get revenge even if it takes aq long time hahaha)
