The renders really are top notch. I'm guessing that the original plot of the game was for Eric to have his way with all the women and Max is supposed to either join in the fun or slowly take them back making them undeniably dependent on him in the end of the story. This kind of plot is quite dark and probably too sadistic for the majority (an assumption) of BB's audience hence the "Eric hate brigade".

I thought it would have been rather like a fight for influence between Eric and the MC, both of you trying to seduce the characters in the house and kind of confronting each other.
At most it could have gone multiple ways, the peace way in which you obtain money from him but you don't fight his gradual increase of influence (with the option to declare war), the war way in which you actively clash with him trying to seduce the girls and perhaps making deals with him related to the characters (like giving him Alice to be able to fuck the mother for example).
It felt to me like it was supposed to be the main character getting his kicks by spying on Eric having sex with his family, or cutting deals with him to be allowed some controlled access to them. The game was billed as being about voyeurism, and DS always seemed to have trouble with the idea of people having incest without a third-party making it happen somehow. I'm not sure that getting rid of Eric was ever supposed to be part of the game either, or if so, not until every woman in the family walked with a permanent limp from being fucked by him so often.

IF DS wanted he could change stuff up and have BB on Patreon. Flat out I do not in any way buy that excuse in the least. It wouldn't ba hard. Tons of developers have done it... tons of developers still release games with landladies and roommates that are thinly veiled covers for incest. He took the Patreon thing as an excuse to stop and move on to Glamour.
I agree with you here. The funny thing is that DS swears that he NEVER intended Eric to get with Lisa or Alice. Which I find starkly unbelievable. The Lisa Sex ed events have a counter... you only have a counter if you need to track the number of times something has happened. The reason you'd do that is to have a progression of events. And the only logical progression of events in a porn game would be Eric slowly corrupting Lisa and popping her cherry, probably with Mom's permission. The dialog later on where you can ask about the whole thing and Lisa says they "only talked about stuff" or whatever is simply trying to retcon what was originally intended. Same with Alice.
But BB is full of dropping ideas after starting them. Look how much the characters change with no real rhyme or reason. Alice turns from a sub to a bitchy dom. Lisa turns from a girl who wants romance to someone who likes watching her brother fuck other people and couldn't give a shit about romance. Olivia turns from a fun loving bon-vivant to a mopey shy girl. The best storyline in the game remains the Lisa/Olivia arc... but that was dropped an orphaned plot line never to be touched again, probably because people bitched that Lisa kinda gave Alex head once.

Sure, but I was replying to "why couldn't he use a new hosting site"? The crackdown came from PayPal (and the credit card companies). "Find a new site" isn't a solution when nobody trusts the new site, and there is no way to get paid.
I agree that he got tired of working on BB, and wanted a change. And used the Patreon crackdown as an excuse to stop.

Some lezbo action is fine but not very satisfying. But seeing your character will be fucked by a male NPC make me want to hurl. It's the reason I didn't even bother looking at Glamour whatever its story is.

That's how you feel, and that's 100% OK. Not everyone feels like that, however.
Some people like making her a slut and fucking everything around. Some people just like watching hot girls fuck.
Just because you control her doesn't mean you ARE her.
Of course, if you don't think like that, well, that's OK too. Play the games that you like, and let other play the games they like.
Of course, we can't forget the ludicrous "a past trauma made it so that any man can basically brainwash Anne, except for Max, of course, because that would just make things too easy" plot development. Then there's the egregious REPEAT of that plot development with Alice. Except, it isn't exactly brainwashing with Alice, so really Kate's basically raping her, and makes Max rape her.
Also, until a LOT of grinding is over, there are basically no repeatable sex scenes. Not even with the incredibly sexually open Kira (With whom Max is alone for a few hours everyday). Also, DS never went back over the few specific repeatable sex scenes in the game and modified them based on plot and character development. A specific example is always having to pass a really difficult persuasion check to get Alice to suck Max's dick while she's drunk after the club even when they're having full-on vaginal sex in front of an audience twice a week. And Max never actually has a real sexual relationship with ANYONE. Kira pretty much flat out refuses to have sex with Max except for special occasions (read: scripted events), Alice is incredibly bi-polar as to whether she's uncomfortable with it, Anne's storyline is barely finished as it is, and Lisa wants to keep her virginity (because that's a fucking great idea in what is essentially an open-ended free-roaming sex game that you don't intend to finish...).

If you play right and set up all the pieces first you can get the opportunity for sacrifice and never have Eric touch Alice at all. What you do is get the quest line to have bad people want to kill Eric before you use the sacrifice option. Once you talk to the bad people on the phone you tell them to wait a little longer. Then go to Eric. Tell him about the candy for Alice. Opportunity done.. next, before you even leave the room, tell Eric people wanna kill him. He instantly becomes your slave and will never lay a hand on Alice, or anyone else in the family after that.
But for the opportunity chaser this is a good tip. 22/22 Done

You can go through the game without having any real issues with Eric. Just do not start any of the quests until you have gotten rid of him. I never helped Alice with her Blog. Never started the teaching of the younger sister. Never did the photoshoot that leads to sex. Pretty much spent the first 6-8 weeks making money to get more cameras to get more money to afford to make him disappear.
Sure it makes the game start boring but I was not interested in seeing Eric doing anything with the sisters or hot aunt. I had no choice with the mother.
