Game crashes as soon as i hit start, the fuck

Same here, game crashes right at the start

You guys, that's not supposed to happen at all. How's the crash? Screen goes black? Error pops up? Game become unresponsive?

If it's just that the screen dims a bit and you can't click on the buttons, wait a bit. It should load. I don't know why but Unity apparently doesn't like how I fade things...

What's your specs? OS, CPU, RAM?

I see... Look that's really not much. It's barely enough. I'll check if I can try and optimize memory a bit more in the next few updates but I wouldn't hold my breath for it...

I have 8GB and the game is actually running pretty damn mid on my own system.

Alright you on the other hand should be able to run the game absolutely flawlessly. Like baby butt smooth. Smoother than Dave Chappelle's botox balls. You also get the error popup with the red exclamation mark?

Game before trying to load sits around 1GB… when it gets to “loading” part, it shoots to 2GB for a few seconds and then closes out.

don’t think it’s a memory issue on my end…

Try to press [z] when the gobbo is about mid distance from his lunge at you. If you time it right, you should dodge the attack and get zero damage.

Yeah i got pretty used to it by now but one mistake and the mf takes like a 40% of your health bar plus theres no healing

I think it is. I confirmed it eating 1GB more than it should right at the loading screen. But the issue does seem indeed to be on my end. Thanks, bro. It's unfortunate you can't play right now, though.

Maybe try to restart your PC and launch it without any background tasks?

But I'm certainly going to check what I can do over here on my end to see if I can make it eat less memory while loading, though.

Keep drinking the statues, maybe you'll get lucky? The biscuits should also give you some health.

But I appreciate the feedback, that's some nasty balance issue right there. I actually thought of easing the gobbo strength a bit but since you can dodge I was afraid it made the game too easy.

Bro honestly I can't find what's wrong with it on my end. Apart from the memory spike issue, there's nothing else I can think of that could cause this issue. Much less with the absolute beast of a machine you have. I'll keep looking, though.

Yeah, you should tone down his damage by a lot since its the first enemy, the chest drop rates are garbage, and you cannot use the statues if you are not aroused enough, something that is very difficult since the only way (i think) to get aroused is getting "bad" chests
