I think people are missing the point.

true, though i wish BB had an NTR tag or warning. i expected an incest game yet i instantly got cucked by some douche named Eric. stopped playing after that and went on to other games.

Big Brother, being listed as a "Popular Game" when it's barely a demo, adds to the confusion.

How do I _______? You can't yet.
Why can't I ______? Because you can't yet.
Why can the redskins score, but I can't? Because you can't yet.
This game sucks!!! It's not a game yet.
It's barely a demo which makes them gain about 30000$ per month.
They made up a good game, they deserve it. The only thing I wanted to say to them is that it's quite obvious since at least three major releases that they're putting no passion on it at all. It has become a patron milking game, they have no interest in finishing it or giving it a real direction. They just promise to add more Lisa scenes and BAM: 10.000 dollars more.

You could harass me telling me I'm jealous of them but I swear I'm not. I'm also a 5$ patron of them because the game's overall idea and graphics are very good but with all that money I would've made 3 complete games leaving my job and all.
And that's a shame, because they have so much potential!

General Practitioner and Teacher's pets devs are both getting a bit more defensive in their comments, I hope they take a forum break and focus on their work. They also need to really just ignore the morons that dont get it.

Like polywog said, I'ts a labor of love first, then it shouldn't be an issue anyways. But for many it's about money and Game developers are honestly the most idiotic people when it comes to money, sales, and income. They are the first to trash their customer, blame their issues on anyone else and rarely ever understand the term Customer service. This is AAA all the way down. Exceptions occur, but the majority do not belong anywhere near talking to a customer.

Incidentally game devs: PLAYERS are CUSTOMERS. treat them that way and you may make more money. Just sayin.'
Really? Where? I never felt rage towards anyone here or on Patreon, except for morons threatening me with North Carolina judges ready to kill me for having minors (FULLY CLOTHED ONES) featured NOT SEXUALLY in my game :D

I don't care about money nor Patreon. I started the game thinking no one would've been interested in it and I'm ashamed by how many people played my game. With Patreon I can pay for DAZ stuff, because I'm against pirating it, and maybe, just maybe, in the future make this the job of my life, because I really like it and I put so many hours of my free time in it that every new player, I don't care if paying or not, is a success and a reward in itself!

I'm curious though, where did I get defensive? If I did please forgive me, it was really random and not wanted.

NTR implies ROMANTIC LOVE, not sexual conquest. All that exists in BB is conquest, hormones on parade! Not NTR, not PROPERTY, just holes begging to be filed!

My 2 cents:
It all depends on how you express your criticism. Downloading an incest game and then complaining about incest, like the op described, is of course pretty stupid. Trying to change the game into something it isn't because it doesnt suit your own taste, is also very annoying. Sadly, this happens very often.
However, where I really have to disagree, and this is more a general thing and not some specific post here in this thread, is the argument that if you're not a patreon, you're not "qualified" to criticize a game. I can't express enough, how strongly I hate this argument. Every developer should be interested in as much criticism as possible as long as it's constructive, regardless where it comes from. Of course, patrons are very important and if the developer wants to give them special privileges about the development like polls etc. that's perfectly fine, but criticism outside of patreon is just as important, maybe even more, because the patrons already like the game and often don't have the necessary distance.

The same goes for the argument: "If you don't like a game, then don't play it."
This forum is to discuss games, that of course includes talkig about the weaknesses. Different oppinions are a blessing.
Imo that's one of the biggest problems in society too, people surround themselves with likeminded people and are completely oblivious of other viewpoints and oppinions, but I digress, so I'm gonna stop here.

This post comes off as pretty defensive. It may not be your intention, but its the tone I get from it. Only the top part of the post has anything to do with you because I mentioned you specifically. and yeah That incident is what I mean when its just better to ignore them. Are they really going to tell a judge they were surfing porn and found a game about being a doctor so bad? They are truly idiots after all.

If you thought I meant you or Irredeamable when it came to the patreon part, I do apologize. That wasn't at you at all and wasn't intended to be. You do great work and I want you to keep at it. I've never thought of you as greedy, only concerned with your mental health when it comes to dealing with assholes.

This may be a typo on your part, but why are you ashamed people like your game? Like Teaching Feeling you have the potential to make a game that becomes great for its non sexual parts, and even better you already created a mode for that.

Ashamed because I didn't think I deserved this recognition. It's very unexpected, believe me.
