The game excels with its captivating art style and engaging gameplay, complemented by a compelling story. Each element blends seamlessly, offering an immersive experience that's both visually stunning and narratively rich.

The initial impression is great, mostly story! But, gradually, the various limitations and the NTR component of the game begin to annoy, even though in this game the female characters are mostly whores and there is a certain desire of the author for realism in the story. There is also a non-obvious moment with a restriction to see certain scenes due to a lack of lust or submission points, which is extremely stupid, and of course there is another woman who "raised us", how original it is.

A couple open world glitches and monotonous points, but overall a real work of art. The aesthetics and film noir plot feel right at home with the cinematic themes it pulls from. I'm hoping for some side quests and surprise bathroom encounters in future versions.

Ok. Absolutely love it. Very atmospheric. Good amount of porn and not half bad characters. Pretty interesting story that I actuallu red. Somewhat problematic getting anough points to do certain stuff. Plus I would like have run option. But walking is ok it it adding good vibes.

I tried this game years ago and loved it. The point-and-click mechanics, the ambiance—everything was great, exactly what you'd expect from a top-rated game on this site.

Make sure to save often in multiple save slots, as soft locks can cause you to lose everything.

But sadly, I can only give it 3 stars because it's the type of game you play, love, put aside, then come back to 3.5 years later and not much has been done. After this much time, I'd expect a product close to its finish line, but this one isn't. Even after 3 years, I'm left with the same feeling, despite more characters, more scenes, and twists, but it still feels far from reaching any sort of conclusion. We all expect multiple endings given the way the game is structured. However, the pace of the developers' progress is akin to that of a Rockstar Games, so perhaps we'll see the end in 7 years.

Soft-locked by bug. For me, it's 4 hours wasted. Would be a 4/5 otherwise, but play at your own risk.
If it worked, my main complaint would be that choices are compelled from the player with little information on the effects, while the character would have knowledge (to some degree) of longer term effects. Something as simple as a thought-reflecting sentence (this will ...) would alleviate this.
It's otherwise pretty compelling. I love the almost film noir setting because it's presented without the heaps of pretense that usually accompany it.

Really want to like this one, the artwork is phenomenal, but its not a good game.

There are too many characters. 3.5 years of development and there is almost no character progression of any characters. Running around grinding is 90%+ of the gameplay. The little dialogue there is, is riddled with spelling mistakes and does not build any background for characters.

There are also some major bugs. For instance if you leave the apartment before dropping off the briefcase, you cannot re-enter. You will need to hope you saved right before or its start over.

Disappointing to see this much potential go untapped. This would have been better served as a visual novel and with more of a focus on writing for the characters, there is potential for a cool plot here, it just never gets fleshed out

I've been meaning to review this game for a while. IMO this is undeniably the most well made and atmospheric h-game I've ever played. It would make a great indie game, adult content notwithstanding. I eagerly await future updates.

The story is based on constant coming and going. I got so bored while playing. The story is not gripping and interesting. The connection between the characters is not well established. There are breaks in the story. In short, 1 star for me. boring...

Version 1.1 - Noir type crime game. I must say the graphics, visuals and models are amazing. The scenes, background, city is beautifully done.

A young man rising in the crime world, lots of the gritty side of a city, xxx video shops, criminals, prostitutes.

The MC (there is a new bit with a FMC but not much with that so far) is a pretty decent...criminal. Not an ass, and not a wimp, so thats refreshing. Seriously needs some sleep, the dev gave him some weird black bags under his eyes for some reason. Maybe he just needs some vitamins.

Like the roaming limited sandbox, its very nicely done. Minor quests, and doesn't seem to want to send you all over the place to find things to continue the story.

This features many LI's that are MILFy, lots of stockings, heels, love that, but if you don't want to be fucking hookers and such, this isn't the game for you. You are developing love points with some very obvious hookers.

Plot, I like, its gritty and so far makes sense.

This is really, really good. I actually love the entire game, especially the development of non traditional love interests, older, worn out, or criminal types, or even the hookers with a heart of gold.

Only reason for a loss of a star was I haven't looked at this for a long time, (2022 maybe) and I was looking forward to a larger amount of development for that time..nope, it was really underwhelming for the difference in content. Hope the dev continues and perhaps a little more content in a timely fashion.

I feel like this was meant as an indie project that turned H while in pre dev, the game is very good lots of effort went into it, sadly not as much effort went into the H/adult sections of the game.

The Night Driver is a breath of fresh air. In a world full of low-effort RenPy games where you're forced to play as a sexual predator and every woman alive is inexplicably begging to suck your dick, this game really stands out. The closest thing I can compare the gameplay to is Disco Elysium, if you're familiar.

Even if some of the gameplay sections can have too much walking back and forth, and the talking sections do have noticeable spelling errors, it really doesn't put a dent in the positives of this game. Don't go in expecting Citizen Kane, but the vast majority of characters, even the protagonist, feel like genuinely real people and not just sex bots. The sexual scenes are quite well implemented too, where they aren't hard to find but you do have to actively put effort into finding them.

I do overall prefer Female Protagonist games, and while this does have a "Female Protagonist" tag, 90% of the game so far is a male protag. I don't really mind though, as Nick is quite an interesting character and not just another bland self-insert. I am looking forward to more Raven content, though, and I hope that she gets as much attention as Nick (and gets some male romance options too.)

Side Note: If you happen to like stocking and/or busty milfs, you'll have a good time with this game, because the author definitely does too lol.

This is likely the best game I have played so far on this forum. The visuals are work of art. The animations and gameplays are beautiful. The story is fantastic. Also the character building is amazing. I just can't get enough of it. It is a breath of fresh air among the typical AVNs really.

I have one complaint: During the dialogues avatars of some characters just flashes and disappears within a fraction of seconds. This is likely a bug and I hope this will be fixed in near future.

I have one wish: I wish there is a walk-through mod so that players can easily navigate the branching of the story as they want. Since this is not a RenPy AVN, third party mods are difficult to build I guess. It would be great if dev himself incorporates this optional feature into the game.

Personally can't wait for the next updates.

WAITING TO PLAY AS FEMALE MC

Same goes for the sexual scenes, they seem far and few inbetween, and they are not very unique. Either you Dom, or you Love. Can get boring and makes for boring imagery unless you make an effort to show different angles and interesting perspectives. If a blowjob is just a blowjob, essentially one image scene, with no expanding upon it, then yeah underwhelming.
But if she licks around and plays with it a bit, maybe slapping it on her face, then all of a sudden it's a bit more intriguing and who knows where that can lead to. And it doesn't have to be the MC being in charge, the woman can be the Dom in a sex scene, if the relationship allows for it.

Art 9/10.
The art in this game is really good, it gives you that LA noir/mobster feeling (its not black and white).
The girls are sexy and id say realistic.

Gameplay 6/10.
Some puzzles and point and click, nothing to rave about.

Story 7/10.
The story is interesting, cant say much without getting into spoilers.

H content 7/10.
Theres a good amount of animated porn with good quality and decent amount of teasing.

The animated scenes and art quality carry this to a 4.5 but ill give it a 5.

I Really Really wanted to like this game. I've scrolled past it dozens of times and this is my second attempt to play it, the first time I only got past the tutorial bit. At least this time I got most of the way through the content.

The artwork is great. It's original, detailed and the characters are perfectly imperfect, just the way they should be. My main problem, and it's a big problem is that there isn't enough of it.
Now let me just clarify, it's not that the game is just starting out and there isn't enough content yet, it's that any lewd content seems to be limited to simply 1 or 2 images. I've barely got a boner before they finish. Yeah the images are sometimes animated but the animations are fairly basic. Just bouncing tits and thrusting. Sorry Dev, I'm sure it takes a lot of time to create this artwork and you are great at it but if I have to walk through rooms picking up bits of stuff and giving them to people for 10 minutes just to see 1 or 2 images it just frustrates me.

In the end about 75% through the current content I opted to just go to the gallery, unlock it and spend 3 minutes enjoying the artwork.

Don't get me wrong, the game isn't BAD...it just needs more focus on the length of the lewd content to make the payoff for doing the other mindless stuff worthwhile.

A porn game with amazing atmosphere and a music that I didn't want to turn off. Realistic characters and setting. Good UX.
Something extremely unusual in the adult gaming industry. Reminds me of old RPGs of late 90s

Pros:
+ Great and unique drawn art/style/animations
+ Atmosphere is *fantastic*
+ Really good story
+ UI is intuitive and easy to understand
+ Meaningful choices
+ Immersion is very good

Cons:
- Perhaps it would have been nice to have a choice "roll-back" functionality, but I guess that would ruin the idea of having choices with a limited amount of time to answer. Anyways, it's not something I really missed.

All in all easily a 5/5. One the best adult games I've ever played

[v1.0a] I liked so much this game cause of the noir aesthetic of the game and adult approach on the story. I can't rate the game like I usually do because it's lack of so much content atm (you only has sex with 2 of 5 main girls, both of them are whores). But I like some fetishes like a lot of lingerie or clothed sex which are unlikely to see even in a porn game.

As a feedback, I would like something to speed the pace of the character, like a x2 or something. Too, I would like the sex scene to last more, but I understand they maybe would be more costly.
