VN - Ren'Py - Heart Problems [v0.8 Final] [Xenorav]

I wanted to like this game. Great looking models + good renders + incest are usually a combination for success. But the experience is greatly cheapened with weak writing, and bad decision making on the dev's part. If you're going to set up an intro where the characters' main motivation is to go to this party, to the point where they have to sneak out of the house to make it there, why spend so little time on it? From arriving at the cancelled-party to getting drunk enough to pass out felt like a matter of seconds.

Also the whole point of incest is the taboo angle, and although drunk, if the cousin has no conflict whatsoever about making out with the mc, then what's the point of playing this game? It shouldn't be this easy.

Storytelling flaws aside, the main dagger in this game for me is pacing and the poor sentence structure. I've played many games with less than serviceable grammar because the story was worth it or characters were interesting enough to not let go, but I find myself not caring about these characters at all besides the way they look.

Cool game, very good start, excelent female characters, the story go in good way, only need good animations and need a gallery.

The state of love and lust are simple and perfect, don´t need more...... but really really need animations... with that this game could be 5 stars.

It's a good game, better than manny I ever played, I would put it in those who have a great potencial. The game is easy to play with a good interface so you have my approval. and If the Dev is planning to add some animationes, would be great.

This is an outstanding start to what I hope will be a fantastic VN. Superb artwork with very lovely renders of some very sexy ladies with great variety. The MC has an antagonist to put tension into the story. Great hints at lots of sexy fun to be had. Don't let the very small download size fool you, this is a very tasty and tantalizing start. Congrats to the dev. Looking forward to seeing more!

Overall this is a really solid start to a game. I would say this is a 4.5 but I always round up my scores (and at the time of this review, it's a 3.5 which I think should be at least a four). Character renders are gorgeous, each character is unique in their own way. Not much in the "material" department except for the MC ogling the three love interests and one heated scene with them which really only goes to second base (and is really just used as a plot device). Though, I can see things developing at a decent pace I don't think it'll be a slow-burn kind of story but that remains to be seen. The story so far is good, the first chapter is a little different than others in its direction than others which gives it a unique feeling to relatively similar VNs. Some awkward sentences here and misspellings there (though some might be intentional, I'm not too sure) but it's comprehensible, no engrish here. I look forward to the second chapter for sure.

Top notch models and renders. It could use something to help with navigation for example a quest log. Also it may be useful to have some kind of visual cue for the places that are accessible, perhaps highlights around doors or something to this effect. Other than that I think it's really good.

this review is based on the available content so far. im giving 3 starts 2.5 atm but willing to try it againg on future versions.

PROS.

• The models. honestly they are some of the sexiest models ive seen in porn games. only for that reason im willing to give another try. (BTW i cant undertand devs that use unatractive models on their games, wtf i mean whats the point, even if is a good game some people would not play it just for that fact)
• Incest. yep you can chose the type of relationship between characters. The MILF is pretty amazing.

and thats it for PROS.i mean the game is in its early stage and i believe on the next update there will be some fixing of the things lacking on this release. for example, some type of walkthrough, or some hint system. atm you are just wandering around not knowing what to do, clicking from door to door.

for CONS i would say is mainly that, the wondering around with out a clue of what to do. but i have faith in the dev that in the next update he will put everithing in order. So please Dev, do so, this is a game i really want it to be good.

As of current version the game is kind of frustrating, the character models and the renders are definitely top notch but the sandbox mechanism is just very frustrating and grindy You basically are given a huge house to move around without any hint to where the next event occurs. You will only get the hang of it after you have grinded through two-three gamedays . Even the rooms aren't marked so its very confusing.

I am not sure of the story as of yet since it is a grindy sandbox but this game heavily requires some hint or tip system as to where the MC needs to go or do next. The English also needs some improvements.

There is definitely scope for improvement and if the developer works around some of the issues mentioned it does have potential to become a good game in the future. As of right now it is average 3/5

first of all the game has one of the best and sexiest models i have seen so far and the 3 of them i liked them not only for the models so this is one of the biggest + for me and mainly why i rated 4* specially the Aunt

what i think this game needs
1: ofc more content and events
2: ((( a hints and in game guide and times of the events and such ))) as of right now u goin fully blind not knowing where to go or what u will see .
3: more control for the player regarding choices as of now its only questions cant call them choices .. people like to have some sort of control and a feeling of the choices they made actually makes a different and matters .
4: LESS GRIND so much less grind needed one of the biggest flaws of the game IMHO is been Grindy and repetitive

lastly wanna mention 2 things happened while i play that might be a bug or something ( keep in mind ofc there is the possibility i missed something since there is no in game guide or hints ) but i played for while and tried all i had

1: the elder cousin when she watch TV in the second floor u can join her and he ( MC ) keeps talking about her issue and all that but time dont pass or she leave or anything unless i go to bed to pass time ( ofc i raised her hearts ) but my point is it feels like its stuck

2: related to one after (1) up there when u try to go to the kitchen ( MC ) say dinner and dont go inside or anything happen .

for the developer thanks for ur hard work its wonderful and great start and with some improvements this game will shine im sure of that .

loved the family and the models and liked the game and i look forward to more of it

I loved the models, the only thing that in my opinion could change would be the hair of the youngest for a longer one, but it is only my opinion

this lacks to put a list of tasks or clues for the character routes, I hope it is the first thing you add in the next update

The game has potential with these great models.

Right now, the house is large and empty. To get around the house, you need to do a lot of clicks. Not knowing anyone's location is the biggest drawback currently. You literally have to check every room to see if there's content. A simple thumbnailed interface with each room would really help. Additionally, tooltips and highlights would be beneficial (Older Female Room, Older Girl's Room, Younger Girl's Room, Living Room, etc).

I gave the game about 5 minutes of my time. There is a bit of Engrish, but it's not overly distracting. I understand there won't be a lot of content in a 0.1, but it should be easier to access that content without 20 clicks each time period, then navigate back to your room, click the bed, then 20 more clicks, hoping to find something. I'll update this review for subsequent updates.

It's not as bad as everyone is saying, there is a little bit too much grind and the nav system is confusing at first, other than that everything is decent for a first release. Don't let the "bad" reviews stop you from progressing further with the game, there are a lot of easily offended snowflakes out there.

Just few graphic details to fix,story has sense to me.For 0.1 i think its going to fast ,you need to keep it interesting if you continue story with this tempo. I think you should put in some more caracters later,avoid friends input of caracters family. Think something original, you are on good way.

it has promise, just needs some TLC and this will be great
highlight the areas we can click, maybe add a guide in the cell phone to help out those stuck

The game has minimal amounts of content, I was only able to see one scene playing through.
The navigation through the game is extremely tedious, if you want to advance time you have to click around to get back to your room. Having highlighted parts for clicking or some indication would be helpful.
Though the game is sandbox, there isn't any sort of story and character progression, characters do the same thing every day at the same time. Waking up early only allows the same event with the aunt character over and over. Characters only exist for the scenes and don't persist as if they exist in the world.
The current "story" is generic & bland at best.

Pros:
- incest
- hot rape
- cute characters
- cute models
Cons:
- Absolutely everything else.

Whack a mole with an incest skin.

Time waster, the game. With some nice tits.

I hate going this badly against a an incest game, especially one with good models. It's my main kink, I'm the guy everyone is hating on for all these incest games, and I still want more. But this ain't it chief. It's an entirely linear game, masquerading as a sandbox, without highlights, without tooltips, with no idea where people are, with nothing to do except click and click and click, until you find a room with a single person in it and start the interaction.

Interactions are on loops, progression is linea, game is sandbox, no hints. It's a nightmare, a tedious unenjoyable nigtmare.

The story doesn't matter, the characters don't mater, the porn doesn't matter, because the game is so horrible.

I have no idea why anyone would play this game, I cannot recommend it for any scenario.
