I've only used CheatEngine a couple times, but what I recall of using it was that I uploaded a save file to a web page, modified some variables, then downloaded the altered version of the save file. When I go to cheatengine.org now, it looks like you have to download the cheat engine itself before you can do any cheating. Did it used to have online functionality, or was I using something else?
