Can I suggest something? I'm not sure if has been said before since I haven't read all the pages, but consider adding a text outline.

For example, in this scene, with the dialogue box opacity at 0, it's impossible to read anything.

Not yet, that has it's own starting point. I do hope I can begin it soon though.

Hi SvenVlad,

No I don't believe it has been suggested, but thank you very much for the suggestion. I added the text box opacity slider, but having a text outline would allow everyone to play it like your attached picture. I'll get on that today.

Done it now and thank you for the suggestion, bit silly that I overlooked that issue. I presumed people would play with the dark box and not use the slider, or not use it to the point where it would go away, but this just makes life so much easier.

the game itself is cool, but the downside is that there are too many branches that give little content, how to make 2 branches more content and then make the other two branches of the content, and so the game is cool and the main character is made beautiful

Sorry I didn't respond to this before, I must have missed the notification. You're absolutely right about the too many branches. I originally wrote SoE like this because it was content that didn't fit into any of the main narratives from the original four stories (Origins, Forced, Prison & RED) but I wanted to keep as close to the original works as possible, it was also my first foray into Renpy and DAZ. SoE has never been anything more than a testing ground for me, which I've tried to be up front about. It will be finished but the scope of starting points is huge, to the point where I'm thinking I may even have to reduce some of them and bring one or two together. There is cross over in these stories but it is much later down the line, the community work and porn work for example come together and spin off two other variants.

I also didn't want to alienate anyone with this, being my first attempt - the purpose of SoE was to cater to different reader niches and if I put them together, there wasn't a way (Not in my head anyway) to make clear and concise definitions for a reader to enjoy all of a particular route that they choose.

I say all this and there is a remake underway, which you may be glad to know that I am very far removed from and is designed to be a better playing experience.

Overview:
Welcome to Jessica’s Choices – Series of Events. If you have previously read my story, I hope you will find this even more enjoyable. Jessica is a young woman; she lives alone and in a large city. In this multiple-choice visual novel, you choose what happens. Out of the five possible starting points, she could be a student, looking for a new job, tangled up in a mess of revenge, a criminal defence attorney or going to the gym. There are several other starting points which might be added in time… But for the interested, whore house, back home for the week with a lecherous uncle, on a business trip, working at an old folk’s home, living her life as a sub, in a coma, or a spy. Each scenario has sprawling multiple choices and each more devious than the last.
I would like to point out that this is a work in progress for both myself and the project. It isn't as good as it can be and I will go back, add more renders, story and choices throughout. I'll be sure to keep the changelog up to date.​

I'm very sorry, none of the previous saves will work from the previous v0.6.1. It's because I ended up getting a clean refresh on my PC and as such needed to start again with this project in Ren'py.

I've played this through and I love what you're doing. Please keep it up - it has great potential and I love the dark avenues you're taking. The visuals and character models you have chose are very good and the settings work.

Thank you very much! I'm just working on some Origins renders at the moment before I shift my focus to SoE for the next release.

I'm still hoping that the gurus in the GFX request team knock me up something better than this, but it's a start for me at least.

Finally, I can announce that I have successfully managed to get Jessica's Choices - Series of Events on the store page. Content review still under consideration and I've needed to provide more of the fully finished work to give them a look at everything which has meant I've had to shift my focus around, but I'm hoping this is the last hurdle and at the very least, I'm now in a position to see if there are any wishlists.
