Purely visual game, decent graphics, boring story has already been seen and reviewed in other ntr games, the BBC is essential for these games.

Hmm, where do I start? This is not going to be a positive review, so if you do not want to read it, then move on.

The writing is terrible. There is no character development and no suspense, drama, or storytelling. It jumps right into your mom is not dead, and I will hire you, without any story leading up to how the boss lady found you. Also, there is no suspenseful build-up to realizing your mother will be your boss. It is just wham bam, thank you, mam. There are no background stories for any main characters except for a few cliche fantasy troupes about fathers and families. I am not sure why this even has three stars. It feels like a horny 13-year-old has written this without any creative writing skills. Also, the story is a complete rip-off of many other titles without original ideas. I am not trolling, just stating facts and this is not an English is my second language issue either, it is just poor writing.

Other issues:

VN advertises you can select your relationships. This is entirely false.
The MC is a terrible design. He looks like a Hobo.
Relationships are poorly designed.
There are many weird anomalies in renders.

Unfortunately, this one is a complete miss for me too.

It's too bad. I like that it includes JAV actresses, but that's pretty much the only positive thing I can say about this.

Great visuals and hot characters. A better update speed is all this game needs now. I hope that the updates will focus more on scenes now than on the gameplay and other technical aspects. Also hope to see more of Varrick

The game is very smart and different. The art is enjoable an it's in general a project that I would like to see completed. It's rare to see a good management game these days

I would like to see more races and more variety in the sprites. I don't know if it's a stylistic choice (I suppose it is) but the clients are all vectors, which is fine, but I think that in this type of game an actual sprite would be enjoable.

I read only first arc and dropped it at some point, it was all over the place. Plus, I didn't really liked anyone here and got REALLY bored at some point. Story itself is not great, to put lightly. Models are f great, tho. Don't expect much, it's "story focused/romance focused" story. Ha! Sure.
I'll probably try to brute force it and see what it has in the store at future arcs, but for now it's not worth it.

Call me Rufio because, after playing this game, I am Hooked!

This is a VN with a silly plot: You're a weeb virgin fisherman with a huge dick who clicks on an ad looking for adult actors because you're an adult and think acting could be fun. You end up interviewing for a job with three women who have never made porn before but want to start a video site with porn with acting and costumes. Basically, Naughty America: Origins.

Silliness aside, the writing is solid, the graphics and animations are top-notch, and there's a good amount of content for a second release. There's no sexy-sex yet, the furthest anyone gets in this release is a titfuck, but what is there is very hot.

One gripe is that the dev could use a proofreader to help them avoid using the word sow instead of sew thirty times which hurt my soul. Could also do with a gallery and/or replay feature.

Otherwise, perfect game. Five stars. Looking forward to future releases.

I love it. The only complaints are the somewhat jarring difference in art style between the sex scenes and the rest of the game and the grind. Don't be an idiot like me and accept the new dungeon plus.

This game is at least 3/5 just because of girls bushes and it has a lot more content than you expect from half year of development.
But story after boat becomes erratic af to the point you don't even want to read it anymore. Random shit just happens.
Also point system that locks you from seeing scenes by meaningless small choices dosen't work properly. Min/maxing relationships and karma points isn't fun.

Had potential but sadly the quality is just awful.

First off the translation is a complete match, no sentence is good and a lot of UI elements aren´t translated at all.

The gameplay is very boring and takkes too long.

And the art isn´t awful but it could be better especially the penis, I don´t mind that it is censored but the color and form doesn´t fit on the character a lot of times.


Wouldn´t recommend it, except if you can read japanese, then play the original.

I really hate trashing something, but this is just so bad. The only thing good about it are the graphics. The rest is just... not good.

To begin with, your MC really does not have a choice with anything. I ranted about it in the thread as a joke, but sure enough as soon as you get into the story, all choices lead to the same place.

To begin with, Rose is the typical lifelong best friend who happens to be a girl and there is an underlying attraction there. I mean, how many times have we seen this? Then we have the middle school kids picking on a dude over a teddy bear and of course there is the screw up at school that the MC needs to navigate. Of course there is the phone you have to answer and respond to text messages... what is this? I hate this functionality. If you want to communicate with the MC then just communicate. The phone things were cute to begin with, but now they just interrupt the flow of the game.

Plus too many of the women/girls look alike. I could have sworn the girl in the park taking pics of the MC was Rose but with dark hair. At first I was completely confused.

The last straw for me was entering a class room and discovering it was point and click. So of course, there is really only one place you can end up sitting. It doesn't matter the order or anything, you can only sit in one place. SO WHY GIVE US THE ILLUSION OF CHOICE?

That was it for me. The whole game reeked of a rip off of so many other games and all the things ripped off are all the bad things.. From the characters to the interface. There is absolutely nothing original about this AVN besides the artwork.

It's too bad because the dev is clearly talented. Great images and a solid production, but to me it just seemed like they are trying to emulate some of the more popular and successful AVNs out there that everyone else copies. I would really like to see them do something original because I bet it would be really good.

Not much content, but what is there is good. I really enjoy the personalities of the characters thus far.
It's unfortunate that it seems destined for the girl friend and family to end up hurting the MC, as he's genuinely likeable so far, if a bit too focused on his families assets. I hope there ends up being a genuinely good reason for the girl friend refusing to go public, as that can cause emotional strain over time.
The visuals are attractive and well utilized. Girls are varied and attractive.
Could be a 5 star with more content, but I find it more likely that the story and characterization will get worse over time and drop to a 3.

while there's honest a good video game with solid mechanics here, it's an overall subpar hentai game with pretty bad models and lack luster sex scenes. It's incredibly dead eyed and any enemy that isn't either humanoid or some variety of tentacle you can't even fuck, which is massively disappointing to say the least.

If you have played anything from this dev recently then you will know what to expect. If you like the art, just cheat in money and unlock all the scenes.

Gamplay is the same as the several he has made with the same premise. Go to the dungeon and grind default rpgm combat to earn money. Then use the money to unlock porn videos of the girls from the guild.

Things progress by just buying all the videos. Then it gets refreshed, and you will have more to buy. After watching the scenes, the girls will have new dialog if you talk to them in the guild hall.

Each girl has 4 scenes. If you complete all the dungeons before unlocking all the scenes you get an item that increases the dungeon rewards so you can grind out money to buy the scenes faster. But save yourself some time and just cheat in money and unlock all the scenes if you want to play this.

This dev does some lazy games, and this is definitely one of the laziest he has done. I like his art so I guess il keep coming back to waste my time on his next piece of garbage, lol.

This is just another rip-off MUGEN game that doesn't add anything except free assets that you could find everywhere online, all-the-while this hosts even less characters than others.

Don't waste your time

I love black souls, this is one of the best games I have ever played. It has complex gameplay, if you like high challenges then you can absolutely choose the highest difficulty level and not level up and you can still win? The characters have a lot of diversity, although I wish they would have more scenes, but for now it's more than enough, and of course the best thing here is the in-depth plot, even after replaying the game 3 times. but there are still many hidden details in the game that I haven't analyzed yet, overall I love Alice

I'm going to break my review down into Visuals / Choices / Writing, since those are the elements I tend to value most in AVNs.

Visuals

The game looks really good. It's easily in the top 5% of games with Illusion-based CG.

The animations are great. Again, easily in the top 5% of games 3DCG games with animation. If you just look at the sample image gifs in the main post of this thread, they might not look that impressive, but one thing that the gifs don't show is just how *many* different animations there are. Any one loop might just look good, but the animations transition from one to another at just the right pace. You're not going to be looking at the same animation loop for 30 or 40 lines.

Choices

The game is almost entirely a pure visual novel, with a few optional free roam segments that can also be played in VN mode. One area that Stormside goes above and beyond as a VN is the variety of choices the player has. Each girl has three main routes (romance, sub, slave) and a possibility for no route, but even within those routes there are hundreds of options, and most of them have *some* actual consequence.

The fact that 2/3 routes are somewhat BDSM focused does mean that players who are into that content will get more out of Stormside, but I would absolutely recommend the game even to a player who only wanted vanilla content, and they would still have choices within the game about how to get to those scenes and what to do during them.

Writing

The general tone of the writing is light hearted and a bit goofy, but not in a way I found offputting. I generally prefer slightly more serious writing, but Stormside really makes its style work. There was only one time I found the style offputting ( ), but that's a few minutes out of a many hour game.

We've only seen bits of the main story so far, so I can't really review that. What we have so far mostly serves to set up the premise of the game and the MC's position, and works well enough for that.

The character writing perfectly suits the general tone of the game. AVN writing in general is not the deepest, and Stormside does not have the deepest characters of any AVN.

But more importantly the characters are fun, and generally likable. Many fit certain tropes and cliches, but they are not entirely defined or limited by those tropes. There's no major character in Stormside that I don't care about, which is not something I can say for every AVN (or even every AVN I would give 5 stars).

I'd recommend Stormside to basically anyone who likes male MC/female partner AVNs, unless they were looking for something very particular. I'd recommend it extra hard to anyone who is interested in mild to moderate BDSM content, but that's not a prerequisite to enjoying it.

Idgaf about how a game was made as long as it good, and this is good. AI art is here to stay and I for one welcome new ways to add to my gooning lifestyle. Game has a promising start with sexy characters and NTR. Hope to see more BBC/Cuck content in the game.

[v0.68.4.4] I like management game. It's kind of lack most of the lewd stuff, need more animations need something like decoration for a management game. performance are bad. it is promising though.

For me tis one is good because i like management game it just need years to be something because this one is a prologue I feel like this is adequate enough.
