a interesting mecanic could be made with the secretary pill if it can get updated to obtain it in the normal way, by example if you clean the house as a secretary you will be more like a house wife(since you look like the stepfather dead wife) and having a diferent interaction with the family in a more dominant but motherly way, with a path to turn more and more into a mother role

I really like this games where the sex scene involves some kind of game mechanics like stamina and sex skill and you get ranked at the end. like here or fighting it. Is there other games that have this mechanic?
Aphrodisia and Degrees of Lewdity come to mind, I guess. The former is a linear story rather than sandbox, though, and doesn't have all that much content, whereas the latter is... well, it's very developed, but it's a rather different genre from XCL.

This game is my favorite on this site. The only thing I loathe is the interruption mechanic with the father and sister. Being interrupted in public places is all well and good, but the bedroom fails are really aggravating, and further damage your stats making failures more likely. It's just an unfair loss condition for the bedroom interactions which are the best way to enjoy sex in this game. I know I can disable interruptions in the cheats, but my feeling is that the respect and friendship stats are just hopelessly skewed towards negative values.
Of course, the game is in development, and at some point I expect that we get an actual appartment. Because being what amounts to an horny teenager with overbearing parents just doesn't fit the rest of the content, I feel.

redownload the game and play without mods if you have them. every scene plays fine on my end with and without mods
One thing to note is that if you contribute at least $100 a week to household expenses they will not interrupt at all. (I have made that mechanic more obvious in the upcoming version)
Yes eventually you'll be able to get a new apartment/house, as well as go over to NPCs' houses - I have plans to make the city actually explorable, where you can get homes, have dating locations like restaurants, etc. Locations will be procedurally generated (partially) but some of them will be pre-set.

I will double my monthly donation if you don't fix and keep working on the new stuff. While I haven't gotten a chance to do much playing with the latest playtest version, I did enjoy hanging-out with sis watching movies. While not a mini-game per se, it was fun trying to figure out what movies to rent that both helped you and kept step-sis happy.

Of all F96 games I support or have thought of supporting, X-Change Life has never given me a reason to regret my backing even when I can't play the new updates due to being way too busy. Which sounds really bad, because a certain someone has gotten married and done a ton of travel and work stuff and still has time to work on her game.
If you contribute a certain amount of money to the household per week then your stepdad/sister no longer interrupt.
