I am just wondering what the people want from this game? I want it to be a sandbox sex simulator and I wonder if I'm in the minority or the majority.

As someone said in the thread and I wholeheartedly agree.

Lol, what a terrible idea to try and make this some grand space adventure RPG with sex in it. Just quit the bullshit and make WilfLife the ultra massive, highly customizable, sandbox sex simulator it's destined to be. WL is definitely one of the most confusing projects I've seen. When I last played it was just random animations in a desert, something I would guess no one would pay money for yet it has a lot of patrons.
They call it a game yet theres no game in it.
Why would the consideration for story come years into the projects development?

This is kind of a weird question to be honest.

Ability to make your to customize your character, put him/her in one or multiple of hundreds of sex position with one or multiple partners and types of partners, view it from any angle you wish, adjust the speed and duration etc. The possibilities are endless.

It is almost as you are making the ideal porn video for yourself, the character that looks and is dressed according to your taste having sex in your favorite position and you get to see it from your favorite angle.

How often do you come across a porn video that has the girl looking exactly like you want her (boob size, ass size, body type, face, hair style & color, skin, makeup, tattoos, etc.) having sex in the positions you want with a partner you want, has all the fetishes you'd like, is of good video quality in general and has good angles that you prefer?

Its a game and apart from what some say this are opinions , facts do not count to much since you can relate to a game or another , in the end it resumes to taste in some game genre or the other , when it comes to find what people like there is a frontier that its always different from one person to the other , I like Wild Life cause it distracts me , its very good on its way, and some might dislike it for the content that is missing this or that , I find the game is very good , and lets face it , it has so far some of the best animations I've seen around including the ranged priced 60 to 70 bucks games , if you go thinking that you have a War of Warcraft game and turn it into an adult game with mods its ok , its also good but this one offers a totally different thing since its built from scratch and offers a lot in terms of Sandbox gameplay , if you talk about the story or campaign yes its limited , not to much RPG content and roads to follow are limited , thought this things are a game of patience and time , I wonder if you guys know or understand the time it takes to make one , pick one animation and think the time it takes to first develop it , than implant that finished animation into the game , its not easy or fast I can tell you.

Sorry about the wall of text , but since we are having a conversation of the game or its life spam , I decided to give my view on things , for now the game its in is very early state , Sandbox is the top of it, the sherry on the all cake , cause it can give you unlimited gameplay , yes doesn't offer much yet but I guess it will with time, Campaign its ok but rather small and boarding, miss also sex scenes with more than two people, the sandbox brings also Different characters and even Futa content , I think the game as a lot to enjoy and have fun and yes its limited yet but give it time and it will improve, Calling it a Scam like I saw in a video from someone on Youtube its , a bit pathetic really, cause the creators inform constantly people of the game state and its goals, game like this coming from ideas and developed with more or less low budgets its even incredible to see the quality of mostly animations it has on it ... Be patient support if you want and can , and enjoy it ...

Constructive critics are always good , but critics have and should be based on facts and reality, the game is sponsored by donations ,and it has low budget , and for sure a small dev team ..I do not know you but I am grateful for what they have done and gave us so far !

To be fair, there are already a few games like that, and it seems for many on here it gets boring fairly fast without any story or gameplay to back it up. Eventually people start using them mainly as a 3D engine for making screenshots(which in turn is used to make new story based games) rather than for fapping.

Not that these "dollhouse" type games don't serve a great purpose of course, but I think for many of us we aren't here just for the visual aspect of porn. We are here for story and gameplay.

Well, maybe something has changed there over the past time, but a two (IIRC) years ago "Wild Life" wasn't even a sandbox, but a walking simulator without engineering or management.

There is no engineering or management in Wild Life.
He is talking about Minecraft since the user he quoted said sandbox games like Minecraft are boring and uninteresting when the statistic speak for themself, they aren't boring and uninteresting when done well.
Wild Life when it was first released was just a sex simulator since all you could do really is have sex with the various characters and creatures on a beach. You could also fly but nothing to see.

As for the topic at hand, I want it to be a RPG and it is what is promised it will be.
The barebones "story" in it so far is a start but I do wish they would stop adding in more characters that are just reskins of current characters and slight variations of sex poses that already exist and start focusing on the actual game.

I know there are similar games, but this is the only one I keep coming back to and enjoyed playing around in. The UI and controls are easy to learn, especially now. They improved a lot over the years. The game also looks better than any other similar game (at least IMO). As someone said these games can easily become boring and stale after some period of time, but if done correctly (just like Minecraft is) you can put in hundreds of hours into the game before it gets boring.

One other thing is that as a sandbox game you can keep improving it and adding new stuff (animations, characters, customizability options) for years and years and get funding for it (maybe same could be said for an RPG, eg. DLCs). I'd have no issues with this game being a monthly subscription rather than a one-time purchase if the game is good enough and kept getting nice updates (although most people probably wouldn't agree with this).

I haven't played Wild-Life for some quite some time (last time I played sex mini-games weren't a thing) and I just tried out the latest update (22-12-2021) and I must say I'm impressed and happy with the progress. The sex mini games are an amazing edition, the UI looks better, the character customizer and presets are a great addition as well. There's so much more potential around sex mini games, like setting up your own, picking timing, duration, order and speed for each scene.

I am just saying I honestly see more potential in making this a sandbox sex simulator with constant updates and improvements than an RPG. The first one is definitely more risky because if you do something wrong, people will quickly lose interest and give up on it. RPG on the other hand isn't my cup of tea anyways so I am kind of biased there, I still did give it a chance here in Wild Life and wasn't impressed with it at all. I was just thinking if at least the time that went into creating all the elements for that short story/quest line went into making more animations and sex mini games or adding more characters and customizability options.

I think with right story and exciting situations it can become the ultimate adult game experience.
Of course u need to implement the sexual content somehow with sense in an exciting story spin with features like cheating, raping, ntr, orgies, sharing, maybe also pregnancy ...etc. ....i think a creative writer can really trigger a wide variety of exciting feelings in gamers. That would be the real art of using this potential for a story mode. But even as a sandbox its currently just amazing. But of course u need a top notch machine to drive it . I think for android this will never be available...

Nah, they don't. Often halfways decent scenes in porn suddenly get executed poorly by bad shots or cuts or whatnot. Games give us the ability to create our own characters the way we want them (such as Wild Life) and then let them do whatever we want as long was we want from any angle we want.

Porn isn't even coming close to that. So yeah, definitely here for games without story. If I want story games I look at real games. There's so much potential in a game if not everything needs to lead to a bad animated 4 second long sex animation. I must honestly say that story games and sex doesn't really fit well together as they fit quite the opposite purposes.

That's why there a millions of pornos, millions of movies, but not so much erotic movies. Nobody needs the worst of both worlds.

I think if the Dev are into adult games and also play VN's here they should know about the basics what players expect.
The Open World Setting has great potential and the game progress with its gorgous animations also.
You can really spin an exciting main storyline and beside some kinky stuff and fetishes like orgy's, truth or dare games , swinging, group sex, humilation,domination etc... until corruption and ntr situations. Also hidden funny scenes like catching
a kerpali and a human in action on hidden places etc..
The current short campaign is nice but its always same concept...bring me this or do this for me and then lets have sex. Its good made but too much of same pattern is boring.

I couldn't care less about the open world and story stuff, and I certainly don't understand why they waste time into making crap like the animal / monster stuff, really few people enjoy seeing a human sized lizard using his digusting dick.

But the editor, man, that thing is powerful. Learned it in 2-3 days and now I can create so many perfectly hot videos with all the scenes and angles I want with characters I've built with the editor. It's sooo much fun and better than anything else ever made in terms of porn games. They should really focus on that, especially make all the sex scenes avaiable for all the characters, the current limitations doesn't make much sense, and there are also some cosmetic issues when you create your own character such as men having weird nail colors.

Also, poses need more content so that you can combine them to their fully potential. Right now there are great poses that would make a perfect scene but you cant combine them well with other poses, and also a lot of poses lack of life, characters are completely stale. On some they're at least breathing and looking around.

I am convinced that making actual gameplay and story elements is at the very bottom of their priority given that the project already produces a small fortune every month. Why finish a project if you can keep a good thing going for as long as you can?

That said I don't really mind because as an avid gamer my standards for video games are usually higher than what most adult game developers achieve with their projects. Wild Life is just another interactive porno to me.
