Why Do You Play Incest Games?

Here is an interesting way to look at it.

Incest is basically where we comefrom. In the Bible, it was Adam and Eve, the only 2 people on earth. And even if you don't believe it that, if we evolved from monkeys, all monkeys have incest. So Incest is basically in our blood. That's why we like it.

It's a question that's bothered me.

I have zero interest in fucking my mother or sister, and the thought of doing something with my teenaged daughter is just horrifying. And yet I will happily play a game where a middle-aged dad seduces his teenaged daughter and get off on it. (One of my great fears is that my wife or daughter come across my porn stash and notice the emphasis on incest porn, and decide I can't be trusted around my own kids. *I* know that's ridiculous, but how the hell would I explain it to a normy?)

The thing I really get off on is lesbian incest. Mother/daughter or sister/sister is the absolute best for me; I'll play some truly crap games if they have that kind of content somewhere in them.

I think one factor is that I don't really identify with the MC, I think of it as a voyeur thing. I find it annoying when I have to name characters (I'd rather they have a canonical name so that when we discuss them in forums we can do so more easily), and having the MC's dick waving around the screen when I am trying to fap is annoying. I play female protagonists where I can because that guarantees lesbian scenes, which I prefer over straight scenes.

So, given all that-- I dig watching girls fuck one another, I dig watching incest, I *really* dig watching lesbian incest, and I don't really feel like I "am" the MC, I think I'm just into the taboo aspect of it.

Well, that's what is so great about fantasy. and in most cases when we fantasize, we fantasize about characters that are totally made up. For example. In an incest family household that you can fuck whomever you want, all the characters look incredibly HOT. There are no ugly people because in the real world it is not like that.

Fantasy is for imagination, that is why we love to watch James Bond or Star Wars. If James Bond came to your door in real life and asked you to join him on a killing assignment to kill a bunch of really Bad guys and put your own life on the line. 90% of people would Run the other way.

For me it's a compromise because games with incest are some of the only games that can routinely produce a good story. Certainly there are great games with great stories that don't have any incest, and those are my favorites, but they can be few and far between. To fill the gap, I often have to try games with incest because at least they have attempts at stories.

If you spend your life chase a perfect 10, you most likely end up very alone. When meeting that "special" one, the person become special for more ways than just how they look.

The idea of the "girl next door", or more the everyday person is more obtainable than what you would find printed on the cover of a glamour magazine. Looks alone doesn't define a person, how "likeable they are, values, traits etc. Imho why story and character building is important in games/VN's.

As for "cousin incest"? Greater part of the world cousins allowed to marry, it's not like a giant taboo. Some people might have some snide comments and look odd at you. But it's way more common than people might think.

Relation with cousin is not incest. It is legal. You can marry your cousin.

Okay, now straight to the point. Why do you play incest games? What's so special about them? Why it's the main fetish for so many people?
I like that genre too, but I don't know why...? It's not like I'm interested in my mom or anyone in my family - it's just an instant boner off for me when I even think about it.

For a few years I thought that in mainly depends on the age difference - young boy + milf, but what about all those sister/cousin stuff that come out recently? Very often the player is in the same age as other family members so my theory is probably wrong.

The point of this post is that I just can't find any logical explanation of that phenomenon. I just want to know the opinion of other 'players' that like that stuff too.

Of course I know that everyone is different, but there must be something that allows us to enjoy that genre, because there's also a lot of people that don't like that genre at all.

Checking my personal taste - I'm mostly enjoy only age difference incest stuff as Mom-son Aunt-son .etc Sister/Cousins can sometimes be okay, but I'm not really interested in those.

Yeah, like I'm playing Lost at Birth and all I'm seeing is a guy cheating on his wife with a hot homewrecker. Like if Kayley and the graphics weren't so good I just couldn't get into it at all. I really don't see what the attraction is in the mother incest stories. Like I said elsewhere, "it's OK honey our kids won't look like Quasimodo" just breaks any possible immersion. Not to mention the attraction to MILFs is something I just don't get (unless it's Melania Trump). They get scary as they get older, like Ron said in Harry Potter. And not in a fun way (assuming scary can be fun).

I just tried Lost at Birth and I agree with that. She's a hot homewrecker. I'm older now and I prefer milfs cuz sometimes a little crazy is good. But too much?? Yeah it can drive you nuts. When I first started playing the incest games years ago, it wasn't the incest, it was the milfs. Like I'm the student lusting after the hot married teacher who likes my youth. And today, it's the reverse but I do like stories about middle-aged men and women but too often, those age categories fall right into the incest fetish. So if there's a patch, I don't often download it. The only time I always get the patch is Midlife Crisis but I gave the characters names from Family Guy and American Dad. My player is called Glenn Quagmire and the kids are step-kids like Hayley and Megan. Can't help but twist the incest around.

I think it's the implied taboo of it for me. I prefer brother/sister and father/daughter over mother/son, personally. Can't put a finger on why it's one of my kinks, it just is. I've never been attracted to any of my own family members.

To me, its the taboo part of it that is most exciting. Usually in the games, it starts off as something innocent and then develops into something forbidden which is a turn on for me. There is usually also a lot of "peeping" which also excites me.
All in all, I don't find the incest part interesting once the sexual relation has developed. Then the taboo part has already been broken and the participants seem more like a regular couple.

I play because its only fiction and safe topic to play, but if bad try for real, Yet in bible they have incest and I kind considering anything from bible at this point is whack of nature. Livestock have incest in it if you really check it. Wild horses have incest would kick out close relations soon as they grown because it would not allow new blood in, So raising animals like goats, goat dad will breed with goat daughters, so I consider options...cousins breeding in goats have issues.
So humans doing incest there is risk. Child hating the father? grandchild in future resenting grandpa, and thus even if child is created by love.
Some incest games do not have this issues it rather strange. Its like most of stories have Behavior drugs where everyone has happy endings which is strange in real life we "know" would happen, most of people in stories would be exiled or kicked from their family for committing incest.

I wouldn't say it's the fetish I'm attracted to but when done right you really get to know the characters and feels like a really good romance story. That and well im easily able to detach myself the game / MC since I know it's a game. Kind of like how some of those video game or book adaptation can be considered bad my many when made into a movie or tv show, Yet I can detach myself from any knowledge I have about it and enjoy it for what it is. Tho id be lying if I didnt say the taboo aspect can be hot sometimes.

For me, it's mostly because I'm interested in good stories. There's the obvious element of these games being fiction, that makes it easier for me to enjoy them without thinking too much into the subject matter in question. Not all incest VN's are my cup of tea, and if the MC is a jerk, and/or the kinks featured are not something I'm into, and/or the theme isn't romantic, then I don't get to find the playing experience enjoyable. Other than that, I have become open to playing this genre also because I'm running out of good games to play, lol.
