A good looking well mussled, rich and powerful person getting the girl isnt a fun game.
That is real life.

A scraly nerd with no social skills turning supermodels into depraved fuck toys?
That is a victory.

It is all about the conquest.
You will find very few games where the girls are already part of your harem.
Why?
Because that would be boring.
We want to "conquer" the girl and make her ours.
It is more fun to conquer the world as an underdog then as alpha.
As it makes the victory far more sweeter if you overcome your natural weakness and become the new alpha.

As far as male characters go, I think it's a bad thing developers don't take a look at regular games and create protagonists similar to the heroes or villains there, instead of those annoying teenage virgins and creepy grandpas common to a lot of porn games.

Old thread, but regarding male MCs: For the straight audience, a generic face is more than enough and they only focus on the female characters. So they don't put any extra effort on the MC's appearance. They don't need it. Or just repeat the most known ones, as the creepy teenager or the ugly fat bastard.

There are exceptions though. There is a recent loli game out there (such a sharp pain), with a lot of incest there that I can't get into even if it were gay. But the MC is SO FUCKING ATTRACTIVE. God damnit, I have excluded the loli tags but the few captions it show the MC, holy shit what a man, sometimes I wonder myself if I should just download it to get some screenshots of him. It's a no-brainer that all the girls on the game run after his magic dick.

The funny thing about that game is that this was exactly what I was thinking when I played it, that mc gave big gay vibes and there was no reason for the dev to show him naked that much.

I guess there is a line that if you make them too hot suddenly people might want to fuck them instead of the girls? Interesting point tho.

Wait, wait, wait, does he appear naked often? I'm downloading the game tomorrow. The loli games turns my stomach, but I'm willing to give it a slight chance just to see him in action.

My gaydar is broken as fuck though, I didn't get the gay vibes, at least from the few screenshots I saw on the game's thread. I never saw the game running. It's just weird to see an MC with beard that looks an actual middle aged man. Even on gay games, if we discard the bara ones who are dedicated to this type of men, these kind of MC are not the norm. Devs seem to like the younger, university student. It's a miracle they grow a beard.

Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with him. Just begin to worry if you see another dick though.

Now that I think of it... yeah, the teenager-younger adult student syndrome seems to affect the gay games too. Sigh, it's tiresome.
