Greetings!
The Russian-language forum of developers games for adults "Albedo" is organizes the Visual Novel Competition 2020. We invite all creative people - developers, programmers, writers, artists. Despite the fact that the main conditions of the competition is the development of the game in russian language, this should not prevent people to cooperating in friendly creative teams and creating new and interesting games!

The aim of the competition is to train the use of artistic and narrative means in game development. It was for this that the format was chosen according to which the competitive games should be developed - the format of visual novels.
Many creative people can write a story or a novel; any author can choose an illustration. And a visual novel does not require complex gestures in programming: you can even organize your work in the format of an interactive book-game.

Timing

August 15, 2020 - the beginning of the competition
November 29, 2020 - the last day of submission of works. You can publish your work earlier, but in this case, you must specify the final version of the build by November 29, on which the voting will be held.
December 1 - December 13, 2020 - voting by reviews. Voting will be carried out among the registered users of the forum. Details will be announced in November.

Rules
1. No restrictions on genre or theme.
2. The game must be with an adult rating;
3. The content of the game must not disturb the Forum Rules.
4. The game must be new.
5. The game must be in Russian languages. Other languages are not prohibited.
6. Novels must be interactive. There must be a choice of events(various options for the development of the stories or/and several endings).
7. Novels must be orthographically correct, please check the text.
8. There should be a visual design for the game. Even if you borrow graphics for your work from open sources, the work will also be judged from a visual point of view.
9. The game should technically be accessible to players. If a special program is required to run game, then it must be located with the game itself. If the game has specific requirements for launching, this should also be indicated in the description for the game.
10. Participants can organize a topic about their project in the contest section so that users can follow the progress of the game.
11. If several participants do not have time to polish the game by the final date. Submission of work may be postponed for a week, only once.
12. Voting will be carried out among the registered users of the forum. Details will be announced in November.
13. A dismissive attitude to the points of the competition rules or to an event may serve as a reason for excluding the author from the list of participants.
