Overview:
It all began with a nearly unplayable release of View of Family 0.1.0.
After fixing the first errors I got curious on Ren'py and started to change the look of and some mechanics behind the game.

(from dev's Patreon: "View of family" is a pov, rpg game with some kind of open world... in perspective. A lot of quests will allow you to put yourself in this incredible adventures. You’ll assume the role of a ordinary 21 year guy... who lives a normal life and working as tutor. He lives with his step-sister Nicole and his step-mother Emily. Help him to seduce all women in this game!)​

Also the hint system seems to be failing, text is all cramped as well in the only one that shows hints which is the lil sis.

thx for report, small typo big exception :(
intermediate solution -> copy attached file to gamedir\game
what do you mean with cramped text? looks normal to me
but i must admit, especially in the beginning more hints would be helpful :)

ok, next try :)
now we use rpy instead of rpyc
all good things go by three ;)
extract scripts.rpa to your gamedir\game and overwrite

and if you download a file from this forum, you have to remove the numbers+underscore in front of the file name

Well, I am getting random little bugs, sometimes phone icon disappearing, or being unable to leave certain locations like the bar or university. I can still move around them, but I can't go back to the city.

yep, found that myself
but appears to be a ren'py related problem, sometimes screens disappear for no reason
will look further into this, actually the screens are there but 'behind' others
you can even interact with them, if you know where they are ;)
