Holy shit. I thought this guy was small-time and had maybe a few k per month at maximum but more likely a fraction of that.
- EDIT: I didn't believe you at first. 'He's exaggerating. It's the internet after all' is what I thought but, after briefly looking into it, it does check out. If anything you somewhat lowballed the amount he's getting (Several sites gave back a value over 35k[!] per month from patreon) which, at this point I'm struggling to believe my own eyes.
Apparently I've seriously underestimated the size & fanaticism of the slime-rape & genshin-yuri fandoms..... 28k a month (?!) + likely having other payment processors & methods to his business model, means it's way higher as you alluded to. Someone making niche content pulls that amount? clearly I picked the wrong profession. Damn.... I am genuinely shocked to the core and now understand why someone told me awhile back that this content creator had a lot of 'haters' & 'controversy'. Thanks for the heads up.

Finally people are understanding what I said like 20 pages ago they were milking this for the million they made on it.
I mean. Isn't that just obvious? They been milking their poor fans and didn't drop the works for like a month now, idk how long it'll take this month or the next or years. Some people are just brainwashed or being a sjw heroes thinking its not right to be pissed at this situation when clearly, y'all been milked and Vici didn't drop their cooked works. idky people defend him, if you compare him to animators that have animated high quality stuff like, mantis, derpixon, nagoon, and at one-point mets3d, and Miro (before his milking spree) he is taking way too long on this animation. Especially since he's using blender and custom models that pretty much have the same bodies as his prior animations. and pre made models from smutbase.
Even on top of that, Vici makes A LOT of money compared to some animators that animate stuff quickly and with quality.
Even then when I was using maya for school I was able to animate things that were photorealistic in a day or two and that's a lot harder than using blender and making sex scenes that repeat for 1-3 minutes with slight movement changes and then a transition scene then a repeat of a 1–3 minute scene.
Note: I have even considered making gneshin porn since they pay the most money right now for animated porn

I know next to nothing about animation but isn't maya a very expensive animating program that yields extremely high quality results with much less effort than the more commonly used animation software? I could be misremembering but if it's what I think it is, his claim isn't as unrealistic as it may seem at a glance.
Or maybe he's full of shit.... I really don't know. Maybe an animator can chime in and say for sure.
I have no dog in this fight but, maybe they see absolute pieces of shit like YandereDev & the group behind Star Citizen, which ViciNeko is much better than, and they think this is fine. Though you're right that he makes an insane amount of money. All day I've been thinking how in the fuck someone making such niché content has that level of backing....... shrug.

You speak the truth.
Once as a young teen, walking alone in downtown of city, I saw and (very idiotically) tried to bet against street hustlers doing 3 face down card trick. I lost about 13 USD, which really hurt since it was most money I had for next week, but more hurt was my pride after doing something so monumentally stupid. However, I never again tried to 'win' at gambling, cons or scams in my life. I understood my mistake and learned from it. If I go to a casino planning to gamble, I don't expect to keep any money I walk in with and that's okay as long as I have a good time.
People that refuse to ever take the L are in fact, refusing to ever learn from their mistakes. Hence people keep throwing money at Star Citizen for who knows how many years now without learning their lesson.

Well if you think that all the animations have audio. Vic has to tie the pieces together and keep audio smooth and not jarring where they are tied together. That is not going to be an easy process if you consider what it takes to sync the video to the audio for subtitles this is definitely more complex than that.
