Updated to v1.6: added Simple and Unity update makers. 1st one for games like MOS (The Incredible Adventure of Huge Dic) where media files is not packed in 1 or more big files. Unity update maker using Inno Setup XDELTA Patch Maker but it has too many options and with my tool u need to select just 3 dirs (new, old and for patch but if u want also can change patch name and version and game name) and I've already selected optimal patch settings, produced patch should be placed to root game folder and lauched from there.

Some plans for v1.7: Basic profile system for Ren'Py and RPGM MV compressor. At 1st it's main function (if activated) would be to make file list of supported by UAGC media types (after unpaking from .rpa) to skip that files in next version of the game to not compress it again. In future profile should also save game compression settings.
So how it supposed to work:
1. Compress game v1.0 with UAGC v.1.7+ using profile system (u will need to enter profile name near compressor button).
2. In case new version (for example 1.1) released compress it with saved in step 1 profile. U should also select folder with compressed v1.0 (in case u moved it somewhere), same media files would be moved from old version to new and UAGC will compress media files that are not in the list that I've mentioned in the beginning of this post. Profile would be auto updated according latest compressed version (to v1.1 in this case).

Hey thanks for the program I would be curious if you could make it plugin-able if you know what I mean. I have looked into losslessly compressing games and reverse etc. The use of AV1 compression for the renpy Webm's is painfully slow and I have a top end computer(5GHZ Intel 9700K RTX3080 32gbcl14) is there anything else that could be used? is 7zip being used because for lzma 7zstandard is now far better I believe. Thanks for your work!

Hi, maybe you meant VP9 since Ren'Py AV1? Second question did you tried to use my tool since it has quite fast SVT-VP9 encoder that is faster then usual libvpx codec up to 5 times in some cases? And I don't think that 7z will improve compression much with already compressed media files but as far as I know lolz compressor is the best for it. Anyway most of games (at least Ren'Py) already compressed by developers and with loseless compression I think you wouldn't get any good results so all mine compressors included in UAGC are lossy.

Yes I was talking virtual lossless- for example a mozjpeg at 95 vs 100 if ya get my drift. I did mean vp9 excuse me(so many god damn acronyms for codecs Jesus) but SVT I believe is software ie: cpu run and I am actually in the middle of compiling an ffmpeg build with nvenc accelerated vp9 to test it out. Also testing h.266 and MP5 when the build finishes compiling. So this is not ordinary 7ZIP this is a new fork of it partially developed from face-books compression tech combined with 7ZIP it yields better all around compression albeit marginal but with far lower RAM and time requirements. so a few suggestions because even the svt codec is painfully slow with marginal gains. maybe even try AV1? although most around here will have their computers burn down from it ha!

Updated to v1.7.7: added avif (about 25% more efficient than webp but a bit slower) image compression support for RPGM MV games (experimental feature for now), updated some tools. UAGC auto updates nw.js to latest version so it could read avif images.
Plans: add avif support in repack maker, try to test av1 (since it's better then webm) codec in RPGM MV videos.

Great Job Megalol on the tool! Damn I was envisaging making something like this and adding AVIF briliant. Firefox just added it but I thought RENPY 746 does not support it? I wanted to use it with a homemade remaster project I was doing and Renpy wouldn't read it? Thanks again gonna check out 177 now. PS... Whatever XNconvert is using for AVIF encoding is giving me color distortions on everything. What are you using as an AVIF encoder?

Ren'Py still don't support avif - as I've said in changelog it's for RPGM MV games only yet and I'm using (example command: FOR /R %%a IN (*.jpg) DO avifenc.exe --jobs 12 --min 0 --max 63 -a end-usage=q -a cq-level=25 -a tune=ssim "%%~a" "%%~dpna.avif") since its quite fast comparing with other tools if u enable multi-core (--jobs 12 or more if have >12 cores) but sadly still not as fast as nconvert and other webp convertors. Video encoding to av1 is even slower then to webm (comparing svt-av1 vs svt-vp9).

been using UAGC since I upgraded my pc, it works great with 3700x. Can compress most Renpy games in less than 10 minutes, and some HTML real porn games that would normally take 10+ hours takes around 2-4 hours.

The speed, amount of compatible engines/tools/configs made this my preferred tool when compressing, I also like that it has enigma unpacker. The best all-in-one adult games compression tool in the site imo.

Only thing its been happening though and Im not even sure if its even a problem, is that when compressing videos, especially real porn, its not using 100% of my CPU, it varies between 10% to 70%. Normally I have to compress 2-3 games at the same time for the CPU usage to go to 100%.

UAGC still the be(a)st in compression.
using this since megalol posted his 1st version (the beginning of my learning in compression) up to now (still learning :LOL:).
from my 17 yrs old pc to my 11 yrs old pc to my 2 yrs old laptop.
from the 1st version to the latest one.
my 2 old pc still working on my compression as stand alone only for compression using old version 1.3.1.

thanks megalol for this amazing tool youve made and shared.
it helps me a lot not just the games i played but also my video files, picture image files and audio files as well. (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

i tried compressing java game ( https://f95zone.to/threads/paradise-found-v1-0-alcahest.37176/).
it went well at the start, then somehow the process got interrupted with my cats playing around running through the keyboards.
it stops at more than 60% processed of the media files (i think). when i checked the processed media files it was successfully compressed and it opens in the game as i have tried.
so i ran again the process 2nd time with the remaining media files that are not processed / compressed.
the result was the media files did not shrink, it remain in the same size as the original size.
i ran again the process 3rd time with the remaining media files that are not processed / compressed.
the result was the same.
i used v1.7.7

i ran the process for the 4th time. this time the whole full game.
results is just the same. :confused:

and ive got a lot of errors.

Sry but I don't think that I could help u here coz I have more questions than answers. At 1st I wanna say that media data in this game (look at right part of mine first screenshot) contains lesser 24Mb and other data is just standalone java runtime that is supposed to be compressed by winrar or 7-zip and has nothing to do with my tool. 2nd is that I had compressed it without any errors and dunno why do u even had SvtVp9 error since there are no any videos at all but u can try to enable libvpx9 encoder or disable video processing in my tool. P.S. So sadly all that I can suggest for now is try to use shorter game path like me "C:\games\v1.0.01" or even delete any dots however tool compressed with them just fine. 3rd screenshot is a media folder size after compression was made.

i have installed the extra media pack with a size of 7.15 Gb. (lots of videos all h264).

1st ran, its just stops the process (freeze). no info or pop-ups errors. ive checked the media files inside the folders, some video files are compresed/shrunk.
as ive open the game, the shrunk files displayed on a game, i assume that was succesfully processed cause it opened during gameplay.

the SvtVp9 errors pop-up only during my 2nd, 3rd & 4th ran.

Ok, now I get it. 1st suggestion is to use Abode Flash Compressor (enable video only, it should possible be faster in some cases than compressing vids to VP9 with almost same quality) and Flash compressor for other (audio, images, gifs). I would test it later since it quite a lot of files but are u sure it freezes for real (did u checked task manager if CPU load/usage is still high?). And doing same videos compression several times could lead to such errors and it's a bad practice anyway (quality should be awful after this) so better move compressed vids somewhere before using my tool again.
P.S. Maybe it's not answer that u hoped/wanted but I really couldn't say any more until test it by myself...

after the cats runs through the keyboard. the pop-up window indications of processing stops.
as i checked the task manager, it says "not responding".
waited for couples of couples of minutes, it just there "not responding".
forgot/didnt check the cpu usage though.
in my compressing experience "not responding" will go back to "running" after several minutes.

it was successfully compressed. from 7.14 Gb reduced to 3.39 Gb.
but not quite satisfied with the result, coz compared the result to my 1st ran its much smaller in size.

For better compression ratio edit "Use video quality..." setting to lower value (for example to 30, that means that video size would be about 70% smaller than original). Btw I've tested finally Java compressor and it took almost 6h to compress 2008 videos till the end without any error - it looked for a while that it freezed but I've waited anyway so it worked fine (but this game doesn't have needed libs to be able to play webm/VP9 videos so u needed to use Flash compressor in this case anyway). I guess that u made it faster with Flash compressor since it uses h.264 (AVC) video compression instead of webm (VP9) in Java?
P.S. I got same compressed video size as urs but u should understand that if u wanna smaller size it goes by price of lower quality...

I'm gonna release test version 1.8 this month. Main feature that in Ren'Py compressor added option "pack back unpacked files and folders to rpa" which also skips processing scripts.rpa file and other rpa files smaller 4Mb and should maintain original file and folder structure as it was before compression. It uses rpatool for packing to rpa. Actually I'm not a fan of packing back to rpa (there are almost no pros doing that and mostly cons for me) but looks like it's common trend among compressors started at least about year ago so I've decided to add this in my tool.

Updated to v1.8: for Ren'Py compressor added packing back to rpa feature and packing game folder to 7z after compression done. Updated AGED (added Unity, MMF2 and Visionaire Studio engines detection). Custom compressor now is able to encode videos to HEVC (H.265). For Repack maker added Ultrafast unpack for images only (useful when game has lots of audio files that could lead to crashes). Java compressor by default using H.264 encoder for videos now. Updated tools.
