I often hear the main problem in a hentai/pervert or porn video game is the fact the sex and the game get in the way of each other instead of working together. That is because porn video games have not been created, they do not exist as a genre, merely a theme.
Horror and porn share a similar weakness of smoothbrains who do not understand what they're working with. As such horror becomes predominantly known as a puzzle game or a very unfun hide, seek & tag game with a death wall enemy.
I have ideas for how to hybridize the game and porn into a proper genre rather than a skin/a theme, however I first want to hear your ideas. I will give you some hints.
What's the second and third principle behind sex besides the first one which isn't available inside a video game?
The third is biology/anatomy, the second is the aesthetics, functions, context of said biology, the first is the pleasure/reward which unfortunately video games lack.
Ironically games have 1 extra medium , 1 advantage over the visual audio medium of films and that is interaction. Most porn games lack interaction with the biology itself. At the same time animation especially in video games is very costly unless you call reusing the same animation or those PS1 models staring idly at you an "immersive interactive animation".

The old generation's reaction would have been to either be baffled at me and try to put me in a looney bin or think I'm some sort of genius and think they're in good company. Albeit the places where I always make these posts are always Reddit, 4chan, a porn website, the most unlikely of places to find article writers, literate people, intellectuals, scholars, theoryfags, etc.
That also shows that 90% of this generation is busy watching TikTok and being bombarded by information, they only enjoy being bombarded by knowledge about things they enjoy spoken by their favourite e-celebrity and in tiny sums like a normal storyteller that talks down to their level.
I've seen my generation first hand; their only reaction even during tragedy is to laugh. Oh those people got washed by the tsunami? that's funny. Albeit they were 9 year olds, but had nothing but poor and abusive families so they naturally tried to find humour in tragedy due to similarities and abusive education by said parents who find beating your ass up and being poor normal.

Most people on here do have smoothbrain. I do agree that this genre can be much more, specially with advances in technology.
But even with what we have at the moment, it could be so much more and, in my opinion, it doesn't need to be animation heavy either.

Comic style, heavy handed meaningful choices would do great. But most devs waste too much time on giving the consumer the price, rather than perfecting the chase, the build up, the connection of the characters (in turn with the consumer's fantasy).

I just posted a GDD. Not a realized one as a GDD would need a lot more details such as tables with percentages like a DnD RPG sheet, but game-defining ideas which can be explained to your programmer through just 1 sentence still carry a lot of value. Ideas are still dime a dozen and not worth much beyond inspiring someone like the creator of Deus Ex to go "why can't we have stealth in a shooter game and RPG in a stealth & shooter game?" To someone with the actual team he'll have much bigger problems managing the team rather than game designing.
Super Deepthroat in itself is a GDD, a proof of concept, yet nobody copied it. Perhaps the environment & demand just isn't there yet.
Or perhaps a good belt on the ass for the smoothbrains would make them think twice before making another F MC with a "lose to win" game.

For the longest time I thought this video was actually made by 2023 voice AI since I never played those games and what it's talking about is so relevant to today's problems that it feels like it was made today.

I don't think multiplayer porn games are ever going to really take off. Besides thecomplication of adding multiplayer aspects, many people want to fap alone, not with others.

90% of GIRLs and thirsty betas say otherwise, however it often turns into cliques of bored afk players or some people just aren't in the mood for other peoples' bullshit, in which case player-created NPCs is the way to go, but each NPC needs to be unique & entertaining. In which case it turns into a very weird PvEvP , environment created by the players where the players don't interact much with each other, but interact more with each other's creations.
These was top-down 2D MMO like Zelda where you could make your own dungeon, I forgot its name ...

And as for "people don't want good games" this is especially true for AAA slop. For AAA slop all they want is some easy to pick up hard to master PvP game. It's more about the popularity than the quality, always has been.
That isn't to say marketing, environment, standards don't play a big part in it. Most who attempt to copy DOTA aka LoL and Fortnite often fail at both the marketing and the quality deparment.
And as for eroge games they fail at both but 99% worse. People especially nowadays really are like stereotypes obsessed with certain things and their love is almost RNG. Undertale's love came from goth stuff and Earthbound's inspiration atmosphere.

And Summertime Saga ... I really wish I could express myself there beyond what other people have told me, but beyond the title(people might have looked for Candy Crush Summer Saga and accidentally ended up where they ended up), Corona forcing everyone at home, a bunch of well placed ads, temporarily being the only western 2D art game among western 3D games (despite the fact all hentai is 2D, but this one because it's western it counts as novel despite the artwork being horrendous like Sims but uglier and more malnourished and fatter). The science behind popularity/memes(repeatable jokes) is incredibly subjective since it practically is lightning in a bottle. Lightning never strikes twice in the same spot. Like trying to predict the roulette.
