The code work for me with the online version so I don't know what problem you are having with codes

What version of the game are you playing? You said it's the online version, but what is the URL of the page you're playing it on?

I went through each of those codes and can confirm they work on a fresh game. Are you loading from a save? If so, can you save your game to disk and upload it here?

You can edit the pc's name by typing SugarCube.State.variables.MainCharacter.name= "YourName" into the console. Just replace the your name with whatever.
