I'd love to see more games that have:

A heavy-set story with hypnosis / mind-control as a central theme that isn't just a quick and easy way to have sex. Add in restrictions, limits, and resistance to the whole thing, and I'm there. I love it when a character has been fucked and then regains their senses, creating tension as their trust in the MC has tanked and now you have to figure out a new way to get them back into your bed.

A game that includes tall women and Giantesses that doesn't involve a lot of death, squishing, stomping, and does include consensual sex scenes. If it could be mixed in with the above, I'd be a very happy camper.

Body dimensions that stand in the face of reality, but still act as if they're real - so give those women gigantic GGG-breasts, but make them complain about back pain and the lack of bras all the time. Let the men have a foot-long cock, and then wonder why they can't ever have sex because it hurts their partners too much. Plot. Simple, easy-to-understand, and no large brain required. Explain why things are happening, rather than leading people on with vague hints or half-baked ideas.

Honestly I'd just like to see a bit more story and depth to the characters. Even if there's few new animations added, it rather bugs me when there's next to no difference between the major NPCs beyond hair color and body type. The more context they can give the encounters, the more fleshed out the motivations of characters and the consequences of actions, would go a great deal towards keeping me interested in several titles, particularly when many Patreon projects are fairly sparse on content, erotic or otherwise.

I definitely agree with you, but I also think a lot of devs get that right. When it doesn't happen, it often looks to me like the problem is lack of planning and just writing as you go instead.

Granted, now I think about it dreaming of dana is story based too so the zero part is not completely accurate from my side.

Be fun to see more games do the linear and free-roaming hybrid style. Haven't seen any other games do it yet. But haven't been playing a lot of games either lately.

When you ask on this board a ton of people will say "story" meaning good writing mostly. I think there is a bias among the subgroup of people who read and reply to General Discussion. That said, it's also something I want (go figure). If I'm being realistic, here's what I want at a bare minimum:

Writing that makes some kind of fucking sense. I don't need it to be great or super deep but at a least make it not completely stupid. I'm willing to give a little leeway in porn games as far as believability. I don't need reality, but I need characters to act like human beings with brains.

Art that doesn't suck. I try not to be too snobbish about the art, I mean it's subjective to some degree anyway. I just see a lot of deadpan characters super imposed onto preset backgrounds. Also see a lot of bad lighting and awkward poses, not to mention grainy images. I'm not the best artist (I don't even consider myself an artist) but I like to think I put in enough effort so that it doesn't look like ass. I would ask the same of other devs.

Good progression. I fucking hate grindy mechanics in games. Earn enough love points to unlock holding hands. Fuck that. I've written many times on this topic, just don't waste the player's time.

What I'd like to see as far as preferences: More corruption games where the character actually becomes corrupted. I mean I like a bit of victim of circumstances sexy content, but I want to see more transformation in characters (not literally). I like the cyberpunk genre and I think it lends itself to more open sexuality. There are some projects in the works, but more wouldn't hurt. I'd also like to see some of these full 3D games actually become real games. I played a lot of modded Skyrim and I'd love to see something designed with adult content in mind from the get go. I rarely see these types of projects get past the demo phase.

I've also enjoyed stories where accidental exposure or incidences lead to a slow burn of exploring interest, fantasizing, and purposefully doing things to create more 'accidents' or intense situations.
