Tentacle Brainwashing Playthrough Guide
This guide is for the version which came before the remake. After playing it, I realised there are slightly different steps to be taken to finish it, so I'll show them here.
Kuro notes:
Village Entrance
First, you have to trigger every possible conversation so you can just go around collecting the items you need(e.g. ladder, teddy bear, etc) otherwise even if you encounter them, you can't pick them up.
Look through this window at the inn.
This will make the swordswoman and elf duo leave the inn. The swordswoman will start patrolling, and the elf duo will go over to their house.
Now, go to the mansion in the top right of the map, and interact with this window:
You then catch the attention of the open window at the top.
Now proceed down until you get to the house with the yellow roof. Take a peek through the window.
The teddy bear has been mentioned. On to the next target.
Proceed to the cow pen.Hit Interact with the cow guarding the entrance, then run away. Circle back and enter the pen.
You may interact with the girl milking the cow, netting you your first scene.
She will drop a key. which you can use to open the door in the pen. Pick up the ladder, then head back to the mansion(be careful of the cow).
Place the ladder at the window.
Climb the ladder, enter the mansion, interact with the girl on the bed, getting you your second scene.
See the teddy bear on the table? That's not the bear you're looking for, sorry.
Go over to the next room, the one with the many ornaments. You'll find it locked. Go back and talk to the girl again, who will assist you to get your third scene by luring her maid over.
Talk to the maid, she'll give you the key to the next room over. Ignore the teddy bear.
Get the necklace on the table. Exit the mansion.
Now is a good time to save, as you are highly likely to encounter a game over on accident. You have been warned.
Go over to the church in the middle of the map.
Enter the church. Interact with the nun, getting you your fourth scene.
Enter the only room in the church, which is the nun's bedroom. Grab the pink teddy bear (save your game) and head over to the elf duo's house.
Peek through the window again, which will get you your 5th scene(technically a 2-in-1, but doesn't matter).
Talk to the elf mother, have her go distract the barman. You may leave the house.
Head over to the shop near the village entrance. Enter through the main entrance.
The shopkeeper will freak out and barricade herself. Don't believe me? Try opening that door then.
Enter through the hole in the wall. Be sure to read the parchment on the box before continuing on to the shopkeeper. That's your scene number 6.
After the scene, talk to the shopkeeper again. Get smuggled to the magician's place. Interact with the magician. That's your scene 7.
Talk to her again. She'll give you a handy sleeping potion. Head back to the inn. Without getting caught, obviously.
Enter from the top-left corner, next to the box. Interact with the bartender to get yourself scene 8. Talk to her again and get her to drug the swordswoman's refreshments. If you've still got something to do, go get it done, because there's no turning back from here.
After drugging the swordswoman, enter her room, interact with her and get scene 9.
It's night now. Head outside the inn. You have a choice to make. You can open the spoiler of your choice.

- getting caught means game over, so be careful of that
- the target(red hair swordsman) moves pretty fast, so don't get into her detection range
- the kid attracts all other units to your position, so be careful of him
- save frequently, accidents happen
- by following this tutorial, you'll skip quite a bit of dialogue and other stuff. Do go exploring to find out tidbits of info
