Hi Boss! I played 14.5.2 again to find the original scene with sis on the couch, and MC says "sis", which is much more appropriate for an incest game (and way hotter).
Thank you again for bringing the original game back, when it's not your job to do it.

Soooooo....... did you by chance name your sister "Sis"? Because I'm looking at the code now which in 0.14.5x is "game\scripts\home\living_room\living_room.rpy" and it doesn't have "Sis" anywhere in the entire file...... Here's the part you're talking about starting at line 1187:

The file you posted says the same thing man - displays the name that you chose for your sister, not "Sis".

Hehe. I was actually the one that first suggested it'd be hotter if he screamed "Sis!!" instead of whatever you named the sister because it'd sound way hotter, back a few pages ago. Not every time read sis or mom is the best way in an incest game.
And i think that DC has carefully assessed the choices of words to use in his game.
In RL a brother do not call his sister "sis" every time. Read her name however implies that it is the sister is therefore it makes no difference is exciting in equal measure. Because up to that point the game explains you by thread and by sign that she is the protagonist's sister. Do not confuse this game, with a Japanese game. This is always a western animate game.
In Japan it's different because they use suffixes and other things that we just do not use. So reading it in Japanese is fine, but reading it in our way no. It's just another way to force something, in the worst way.
For the mother "mom" is ok, because a son rarelly call his mother with her fist name.

I always appreciate your support. But I can tell you that DC did not carefully choose many many many of the words in the game
.Not knocking his work, but there are several places that the dialogue is flat, the same words/phrases are used repeatedly, and in some places it just makes zero sense whatsoever. And the non-IC rewrite 0.15.x made some scenes worse. There's only so many times I could look at every character saying "Hehe". Remember that I'm changing over a thousand lines of dialogue already, I have no issues with giving the dialogue a polish while I'm in there.
Think of it this way; if the code is broken, I fix the code. Not because I'm better than DC and the STS team, but because they've done their part; game update is out the door. The bugs that they decide people can live with until v0.16, I'm happy to fix if I can.
I look at the dialogue the exact same way; if it's broken or can be made better, I'm going to fix it.
And as I've said to you and others, I want and encourage everyone's input - that's the whole point of this. We're completely changing this game to make it more fun for us. So please bear that in mind before you start asking people to stop submitting their suggestions/opinions/requests.
EDIT: And c'mon, it's a goddamn porno game - let's all keep that in perspective and not take it so seriously!

First of all thank you so much for this mod you sir are a living GOD lol. I was just wondering though if any one else is having issues when you try to save? My game has frozen up several times then crashed when trying to save and then it failed to save all the progress I made since the last save that actually worked. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had any issue like this and if its related to the mod or my dumb PC. Thanks again for this amazing mod!

That's an issue with the base game, and has been discussed at length on the STS Discord. They have a ton of stuff that's being saved each time. I'm about 85% through the game and my save files are over 3MB.
Now in all fairness, this mod does make that a little worse because I've increased the rollback log which is saved each time. But yeah, vast majority of the issue is with the base game. Sorry man.
Oh its no problem I really don't mind playing some things over I just wasn't sure what was causing it is all now I know thank you. Guess I should check the discord now and again since I am a patreon of his haha.

Download the patch and unzip. Copy the images folder and "incest_patch.rpyc". Right-click on Summertime Saga and click on Show Package Contents. Navigate to Contents\Resources\autorun\game. Paste.
