RPGM - Completed - Succulence [v2.5 AE] [(R)Nest]

This is in my list of top 10 eroges, but it's a game that I loved and then felt fell short. The end of the game feels a bit rushed, and many of the side stories feel like they also lack the depth that they encouraged early on. I feel like there's a real problem with the flow of the game between the split world it creates. You can go to a Fantasy world where you engage in RPG fights, and then you can come back to the real world where you go event hunting and outfit hunting. It's a fun balance when there is plenty to do in both, meaning the beginning of the game is a treat. However the two quickly feel disconnected and you end up grinding away time in one or the other to progress.

All this said, it's a very solid concept, very engaging to get through, and if you like RPGM games but are on the fence due to the 3d art, don't be. Give this a shot.

This is one of the games that I always come back to. You spend half of it in a fantasy world and the other half as a sexy high school teacher, and both worlds are full of stuff to explore. Arguably, it's a bit grindy as you try to max out your exhibitionism, submission, and dominance, and it's easy to miss stuff without a guide, but the artwork is great and it's a lot of fun.

Had a great time with this game, played 20 hours to see most of the content and reach the true end which ends in a hint of a continuation in Succulence 2.

Serviceable and straight-forward story, though the lack of a mission log does make it difficult to remember the correct next step to progress the story if didn't make a note of the last stopping point.

Although the graphics choice of RPGMaker + HoneySelect seemed weird initially, it is done very well.

Certain parts of the game are definitely still unfinished, there is an instance where it specifically says 'More to be added in the future', however these are rare and the game does feel basically complete.

Good for people who enjoy a heroine who slowly indulges herself in more and more sexual encounters.

    TLDR:
    Pros-
    -Female protag
    -Clothing system somewhat

    Cons-
    -No animation
    -Bad resolution
-Sex scenes just screenshots of a 3d model pasted into 2d
-Female model is 3d but resolution is terrible. Not sexy at all.
-Insanly long unskippable prologue? Im pretty sure I chose to skip it and still am forced to play this linear boredom.

Basically this is another RPGM game. That needs to be played on a phone cause screen size is just abysmal. Making it full screen makes counting pixes more then possible.

Have played for 30 minutes and still were in unskippable prologue with 1 bad end already cause walking somewhere is bad. Just dead. Sex scene was also bad and worse then pixelated.

I had quite a lot of fun with this game but gave it only 4 stars. Let me explain.

First of all it's a RPG game with stats and fights where you can die. If you want just some erotic show than it's probably not for you.

Let's talk about the story. Our heroine is a seemingly ordinary school teacher living in an ordinary modern city who suddlenly discoveres that she's actually some demon of lust and that she has some portal leading to another fantasy world at home. For the whole game she'll be travelling between worlds.

The gameplay in the two worlds is very different, just like you were playing two different games. In ordinary world it's a sandbox game where you do everyday stuff and hunt for erotic scenes. In the fantasy world it's quite linear were you have to fight and walk around dungeons an mazes. These two paths are generally not connected at all which is for me a weak point of the game.

The combat part is so-so. There are only a few type of enemies, a few types of attacks and a lot of unnecessary stuff in the shops. It can be also a bit unbalanced, either too easy or too hard at moments.

The scene hunting part in the ordinary world is sometimes fun and sometimes tedious. You often need to do the same things again and again hoping that if you were some different outfit or do it for 10th time then something different happens.

And yes, you will be changing clothes a lot in this game. I'll leave it to you to
decide if it's hot or not.

The graphics are nice but could be better. The pictures are quite "artificial" and it's the same lady in 99% of cases (although she really good, I must admit).

So play it but remember that it has its limitations.

Excellent game. I was sceptical at first at the 3DCG as it looked a bit janky, but it was absolutely worth it to play. There is so much content and loads of scenes. The slower build up made the scenes more realistic and hot as well. I love the real life setting rather than fantasy setting and the clothing options make this game amazing. Story is good as well, though the boss fights can be a bit annoying. The character is amazing, I love how you are not actually forced to do anything you dont want, during submission/master interactions you can just stop whenever you want and the character still feels like an actual person.
Highly recommend, even if you prefer 2DCG or animations.

Story driven game. Pure corruption based game, very slow burn, but well worth. Does corruption right, if you like slow but steady corruption this is for you.

However the CG in this game is terrible. 5 minutes in you can tell what it's going to be like, it doesn't get better.

So this is a porn-for-the-plot kind of game. If you're into that, it's excellent, if not it's terrible.

To skip the grind, edit your save file with a million gold and then play the game. The gold earning part of the game is a bit tedious and unnecessary.

the game has an impressive scope and the slower paced nature of the "corruption" is well done, but the CG is so insanely outdated and stiff, it outweighs this
Usually a great story/game can outweigh mediocre CG (Oni&TheBlade, Karryns Prison being great example) but in this case the payoff CGs are just not good enough

    I was honestly disappointed.
The beginning of the game is ok, the only negative of the beginning is that you can get a game over for free just by walking, you don't even have a choice, a warning or anything.
Afterwards the game becomes boring, you have to constantly watch out for sanity and lust, otherwise another game over. The problem is that these two values go up/down too fast.
The "Desire Shop" made me dream, the first time you enter the shop you are satisfied by the dialogue, but later you discover that in the end it is a simple shop with a vendor, what a shame.
The whole story about the lab (in school, the brainwashing one) is bad, every time it made me want to drop, which after a few lab scenes I did.
The game is visually awful when played in full screen (it is normal that the game loses some quality when played in full screen, but here it is not at all enjoyable), in order to appreciate the female character you have to play in windowed mode, which is obviously annoying.
I do not recommend the game!

I played the game for about 18 hours. By doing every little thing. I'm talking about collecting even all the nicknames. The game is literally amazing. Serena is the best female protagonist I've ever seen. She's smart, sexy and a real horny one after giving it enough time. I said this because the game has a nice slow-paced corruption. I hardly encountered any bug. Playing the game in two different worlds is a beautiful thing in itself. I don't have much left to say. For me the game has no negative points. And sorry for my grammer mistakes. English is not my native language.

Early game is interesting and fun, but later it gets super tedious. Scenes are good but hunting for them, large amounts of backtracking and completing the game without using a walkthrough is a pain. Combat and balance is terrible.

Absolute banger of a game with great mechanism that includes corruption, clothings according to certain events, great sex scenes, multiple routes and many more. Also has decent amount of content and gameplay time, to throughly enjoy every moment of it. Hope that Succulence 2 would have greater audience and more custom system.

✅Great main character (she cute, hot, sexy all at once)
✅A proper corruption game that doesn’t go from 0% sluttiness to 100% in matter of scenes
✅A ton of scenes, A TON
✅Clothing, mental state affects scenes & npc reactions
✅Running main plot is also pretty fun
    ✅CGi is good enough
✅Proper gallery room with scene hints & post-game cheat tools to see rest of scenes
    ✅Good degeneracy stats
    ✅Plenty of kinks
✅Simple and not too tedious combat gameplay
    ✅Great/native English
✅Game overs let you continue (so no need to mess with saves)
❔Title system is okay, essentially, it’s just some flavor text
❔You can use debug/cheat menu to speed up some stuff
    CONs
❔Was there grinding? I don’t remember grinding anything aside my wood lol.
❌Repetition loop if fail to find new scenes to trigger
❌Some game bugs now and then that are fairly odd
❌After initial few hours, scene hunting becomes slowly a chore
❌Cgi uses another game assets but is well done
❌Sadly no scene skipping on stuff you seen already
❌Feel like there should been better teleportation system, can get annoying running back n forwards
    Comments
Took me around 20 hours to finish and was pure bliss first 10 hours. Then scene hunting started to become a bit tedious. Anyhow… as far as corruption games go this was one of the better ones. As corruption ain’t steep and there is plenty to go around. Did mention most stuff in pros and cons but if I can add then “CGi is good enough” then that applies to 3DCG different game assets usage.
Probably forgetting something, but as always I write reviews after finishing a game up to a week. I don’t make “notes” while playing as I’m focused to the game.
Anyhow…. This game would been in 1 of my favourites 100% if game would’ve had voice acting, proper quality CGi (whenever 2d or 3d), polished scenes and more smoother corruption transitions + more QoL features… but nevertheless this is most definitely one of the better corruption degenerate games.

Pros: Lots of costumes, two different genres at one game. Steady and logical character development. Already spent more than 20h :D I'd give it 4,5 out of 5. Not many games of this genre I've spent so many hours

Cons: Repetiteve gameplay, especially at the end to try somenew possibilities have to wait till next day. Some minor bugs, like constantly repiting sounds after some events and rare crashes

Iplayed the prologue and I was awed t see how much content the game has (NOTHING BURGER) I decided to keep playing and I was introduced with the game mechanics, and for the next hour or so the amount of content remained the same, basically "dressed "upskirts and some fanservice oof that nature, which is stuff that I loooked at in animes when I was 15 andd It was enough to ignire sparks, but im not that young and we have high speed internet and 4K now.

Anyway my SAnity was going down cause tehre is basically nothing to do to keep it in check, so I found the restaurtan and decided to engane in sex, expecting this sanity stat to go drastically up, after having sex cause apparently man cum is the cure or something.
As it happens, I got the same sanity gain from sex than rom bathing, and half the amount from bathing and masturbating, so...
And that was it for this game. Anmd this wasnt the only reason. There are acouple of reasons:

Th game looks like one of those 2d games, so a lot of static images over background with a poor or no integration at all.
The males in many events are either shadows or just hands, they didnt bother to create actual humans.
Saying cum is the solution, but finding ouot that masturbating is faster and gives the same ormore stat, is bad.
The sex scene I watchedwas a no transition one, with static image.
IT ahs some redundant stuff like the science department reprogramming her to do stuff that she would probaly do sonner or later without any programming, since her lust ges out of control. Wahts the point of redundant "excuses" for her to act lewd?
The 2 hours of proloogue and some after that full of fanservice no-nudes, terrible.
Graphics are bad, the work put ont seems to be low, and everythig looks rushed.

I would recommend to stay away from this one, cause I played recently a vouple of this games that,€ven if theya re not perfect they are still better than this one by a mile.
If you like female protagonist game, this one is a no no.

One star may seem harsh, but I honestly feel cheated. I downloaded this game based on how well it was rated, and my experience did not reflect those stars. Now, it's clear a lot of work has gone into the game itself, but all that's resulted is a competent RPG. The sex scenes are about as appealing as slapping toys together.

In this game, you play as a latent succubus who discovers her powers after falling through a dimensional portal to another world. Sounds interesting right? Except the game barely engages with that story. You can easily ignore it, and in fact the game encourages you to do so while grinding your power as a succubus. Yay. I couldn't play this one to completion due to boredom, and I'm sure the plot is more important as the game progresses, but I made it six hours in, and nothing of consequence really happened. It couldn't grab me quickly with what it did offer, and there are so many better uses of my time even on just this website.

Aside from the interesting premise, the game has almost nothing unique or interesting to offer. You walk around a generic Japanese town or a generic fantasy world slowly being corrupted. And again, those scenes of corruption are astoundingly unattractive. There are 3d games with lower ratings that have much sexier renders (Even sticking to the realm of RPGM you have Milf's Villa, Cohabitation, and Zoe's Temptations) . Given that the draw of an H-game isn't the bland unremarkable roleplaying game, plot, and setting; having unsexy sex scenes absolutely kills the appeal. If you were thinking about playing this, you can replicate the experience by playing a Dragon Quest game while breaking occasionally to stare at a Barbie and Ken lying on top of each other.

Huge fan of this series, I enjoy the exhibitionism the most and exposure in front of others. Slow corruption makes the story more enjoyable in my opinion, and all triggers I have encountered so far don't contradict the adventure.
Hints in the menu can be a little tricky to follow or at least find, but that is half the fun.
I'm very excited for the sequel of this series and am patiently waiting for it's completion.

This game is hard to rate. There are parts I really like in equal opposition to the parts I loathe. The good and bad bounce off and dance with each other which keeps the game from being as great as it could be.

The foundation of the game is three main fetishes: Exhbitionism, Domination, and Humiliation. Most of the content is somewhere on the venn diagram of these three topics. As the description says, you play a prudish, strict teacher at a local high school, who is plunged into a whole slew of fantasy elements. She finds out there's an alternate dimension straight out of fantasy fiction, that she's actually a succubus, whom must engage in sexual activity or go insane.

So the majority of the gameplay is about juggling a few stats: You have two major condition states, Lust and Sanity. If the former gets too high and/or the latter too low, it's game over. Engaging in sexual acts slakes lust and raises sanity. Depending on the ratio of each, access is granted to new events and variations on scenes. You also have three "succubus contracts" you can opt in, each aligning with one of the aforementioned fetishes. These contracts open up content and grant abilities, but demand certain actions be taken daily during the game's time states (a common smut game mechanic), with failure to do so incurring greater penalties to your Lust/Sanity meters. Items exist to manage your Lust/Sanity, and money can be gained through doing typical RPG battles in the fantasy world or by following your career as a teacher, managing various school clubs, which reveals more content to follow.

Overall, it's a fairly elegant concept that doesn't strain the limits of what RPGMaker can do. I have to give it props on its design philosophy.

    HOWEVER.

The flaws are just as big as the strengths. Chief among them are pacing, focus, signposting and tutorialization. The common complaint people have is being unable to figure out the Lust/Sanity management, which is the most fundamental gameplay mechanic. The game just throws you into sandbox mode and expects you out core gameplay functions. This isn't Dark Souls, a tiny bit of handholding isn't a sin for a porn game. This lack of conveyance informs every bit of this game's design. You'll find yourself in a death spiral and getting game overs because your options aren't made clear to you.

If you're lucky you'll stumble on a few options that should have been more explicit from the start. Chances are you'll have to resort to a guide, though. As a rule, it's a whole star off from me if I gotta consult an external guide for basic gameplay.

The problem is fundamental: those players that manage to avoid the death spiral of the Lust/Sanity mechanics end up in a recursive loop, because experimentation and exploration is disencentivized. The content doesn't signpost itself or emerge through intuitive play, so again, you'll probably end up consulting a guide. That, or open up an entirely secondary instance of the game, as I did, within the Recollection Room in order to keep the game's only tip system handy, because said room is only accessible from one single location. Even having an item in the menu that let you visit the RR at any time would have been a major step up.

Honestly a simple tracker that explicitly signposts the next step in the various paths, prokking after a certain number of days would have solved most of these issues. Players are naturally pushed into maintaining the equilibrium of Lust/Sanity to avoid game overs,, and that should be rewarded. That's what the game wants you to do, but it also wants you to figure out progress on dozens of content clusters through granular experimentation. What the end result you get is abysmal pacing, repeating scenes dozens of times because you didn't meet some obfuscated criteria, like wardrobe choice or a specific Lust or Sanity ratio.

On top of that, the game lacks true focus by featuring almost completely divorced dual modes of play. On one hand, you have a critical story path in the fantasy realm with a conspiracy and narrative. It's very linear. The sandbox mode, on the other hand, is all over the place. The two barely gel, and feel like they should have been separate, but related games. The focus on linearity within the rather tame fantasy story should have been directed instead to a through-line of the sandbox mode that naturally linked up the various plotlines, or the sandbox should have been integrated into the fantasy world.

As for the aesthetic, it's pretty decent, the renders are plentiful but basic.

I really spent a lot of time with this game, as the adult content really appeals to me. But I wish it was better designed. It felt exhausting to play.

one of the best games i played and enjoyed on this site
cant wait for part 2 of the game to be completed and see what it offers and adds to an already great game
the game events all happen in a school setting since the heroin is a teacher and it has quite a bit of exhibitionism fetish too

Compared to a lot of other games on this site, especially RPGs, this is one of the better ones, mostly by virtue of being 'complete'. It's also done by someone who at least understands English. There's some broken idioms here and there, plus the occasional weird sentence structure and odd use of grammar, that make me think the author is an ESL but the English is still better than what you'll read in 99% of the games on F95.

Ignoring other games and just judging Succulence by itself, however, I find it to be mediocre / middling. The leading problem for me is that a lot of the content just goes nowhere. For example, take the priest you meet in the Ahn. His content begins with him hiring you to investigate the cellar of the church; it's pitch black down there so there's a lot of 'accidental' groping. After that there's a few groping events you do with him. Then the grand finale is... him masturbating. That's it. No real sexual content.

For another example, look at Bruce. He's one of the earliest named male NPCs to be introduced. He's a co-worker with an obvious crush on our heroine, Serena. You can go out drinking with him after work, which even has its own mini game. His content eventually culminates with... a handjob. A lot of content is like this, unfortunately. Many of the event chains in the game feel unfinished or otherwise disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, there is sex in the game. You'll have to hunt for it and unless you take a gander at the recollection room you'll never have any idea if the content for a NPC you've taken an interest in or an event chain actually goes anywhere interesting. When the game does have actual sex in it... it's kinda disappointing. It's the bog standard few lines of dialogue: "Ah, your dick is so big!" "Your pussy is so tight!" "I'm cumming!" "I'm cumming too!" and that's pretty much it for the scene.

Another problem is the pacing. The prologue alone is around 90ish minutes, depending on how thorough you are and how much you explore. Then imagine spending another hour going through the video game club's content only to find... yep, it goes nowhere. Even the content that does, at the very last second, have a sex scene in it (like the art club) leaves you with a feeling of having wasted your time.

Lastly for the writing there's the main protagonist herself, Serena. She's not some naive girl who gets tricked into sex easily, which is a plus, but on the downside her level of intelligence, backbone, and how much of a prude she is fluctuates with whatever a scene needs. There's no real gradient of corruption with Serena. A lot of it is ability based, which you unlock as you level up. Which means she goes from not wanting to have sex with people to dragging random strangers into alleys to fuck them because you unlocked the 'Lust Frenzy' ability that allows her to do so. Overall I was mostly ambivalent towards Serena: she's not a very interesting character but she also isn't the typical "what iz a penis???" female character you find in porn games.

As for the graphics, they're dated but fine. The developer made a great model for Serena: she's curvy but well proportioned, her waist isn't an inch wide and while she has big boobs they aren't cartoonish looking balloons. There's some animations but they're primitive, though I don't really care much about animations, so they didn't really bother me any. The images are all pretty well made, attractive, and generally give you a clear shot of the action.

Finally, there's the gameplay. Eventually in the prologue you'll gain the ability to travel to a fantasy world. It's there that the main plot plays out and it does so by you exploring ruins, which means fighting a lot of enemies. It has one somewhat unique system wherein if you stay in the shadows you can one-shot enemies... but you won't gain any experience that way. Once you do get into combat it's your usual RPG Maker stuff, though for me it felt extra slow because enemies seemed to evade a lot.

Outside of combat there's not much to talk about in terms of gameplay. The only noteworthy feature is that Serena has a lot of different clothes to wear and most scenes will actually respect what she's wearing and they'll show up on the images. On the other hand, though, you'll find scenes that require a certain costume and instead of just automatically changing in to it for the scene you will instead have to backtrack and find a closet to change her outfit if you don't have the correct one on, which gets very tedious. I will say that I find the maps to be well made -- they're all just big enough so that they feel like 'real' places within the game, are well structured, and have a nice amount of clutter.

To wrap up this rambling mess, overall I was disappointed with Succulence. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is your typical hentai RPG Maker fare, which is good enough for me. What lets the game down for me, however, is the writing. If you're someone who likes costume play, teasing, and voyeurism you'll probably really enjoy this game. I am not one of those people. If I'm going to be spending hours reading through text as I go through event chains and talk with NPCs I want it to actually lead somewhere... unfortunately in Succulence a lot of the content just sorta stops.
