you can enchant player strengh in the laboratory by 2 (just as any other character)
other than that you can only try to find enchanted items with str boost
...or if you want to chreat you can edit the value in a save file; than load it ingame

is there a way to increase MC stat? if my strengh is 4 is that as high as i can add? it wont go up anymore?
You can edit the save file using a text editor. It can be a little hard to sort through but if you search for the MC's name you should be able to find it. It's recommended that you don't edit higher than 7 if you plan on using the lab. Values higher than 9 can cause strange things to happen.

So I noticed that no one answered my last question, so I'll ask again what program is recommended to use to edit game files? (I am not trying to be rude or anything else like that, I am just generally curious)
If finding things on your own is too difficult might be easier to just an online editor, like say this one:

Hey anyway to change portait and bodie pictures without losing either?
Don't check the box "both", that checks if there's an identically named body if selecting portrait, or identical portrait if selecting body, if no matching named one then it clears it. If you uncheck it(which i thought was the default), then it only sets the current.

If you grab one of the more recent portrait packs, they have matching portrait and body images. The ones in the top post are quite old. There's newer ones in the itch forums.

The best way to play the game IMO is to only recruit girls with quests and preset stories.
This might just be my lack of imagination but I prefer fewer, more detailed characters.
Also, pick slave hunter and ravage the seas! YARR!

I normally have atleast 1 Dryad and Arachne for food or later on a farm full of Taurus Girls and Harpies...
a Drow for my lab, a Centaur and Dragonkin for combat and maybe a beastkin fox and or bunny for prostitution/escort.
afterwards I only recruit girls for their essence or special job bonus (i.e. cook)

Finished with the main storyline and loved every second of it. Is there any other game in the same vein as this i.e. mixed good story/story progression, "random" events, management that would be recommended while I wait for more content?

So, I've made a big collection of pictures and portraits, but they all cause the iCCP incorrect sRGB profile error.
Is there an easy way to fix this? A program that I can run using a batch file or has the ability to process a whole bunch of images at once? I really don't want to edit each file individually.

Irfanview has a batch conversion option. Run it and select batch conversion/rename from the file menu.

I have no idea what actual conversion you'd need to do to fix that error, though.

I love the way you can create your own characters, and import your own artwork. Can anyone recommend other games where you can do this?

Is there a way to make the race of a child be that of the father, like in the first release ? I am not very fan of the fact you can only have child of the race of the mother.

This is only a warning, you can just ignore it... It doesn't break anything far as I can tell, just spams the console anytime they're loaded.

Hmm, it keeps flattening the image and removing the transparency for me.

There's probably a processing option to save as png and preserve transparency, but png doesn't support layers far as I know. You don't have to overwrite the old files, if keeping the layers is important for you. You ought to be able tosave to a new directory.

I guess I'm assuming that you were wanting to save as a png. I actually don't know what formats are okay for import, but I'm guessing it's something like png or jpg or bmp.

That's what I'm trying to do; save to a different directory, save transparency, as a png file. The files I've been saving have been PNGs with a single non-background layer.
During the batch conversion, saving the transparency to an alpha channel does something... strange. It removes all "black" from the file, leaving only the non-dark colors and everything else becomes partially transparent. I've attached an example, along with the original file.
