So its not like I think you are wrong about everything, but wow it came off super negative and unfair. Two stars should be some AI art game with terrible dialog and grammar and gamebreaking bugs that still has some very hot fetish idea or creative setting to make it above one star. Star Periphery has so much more than that and its not hypersize or porn logic either.

Sure. I left the review after stewing about the issues I brought up in the latest release. I could have been more diplomatic, I guess, but I don't regret the stars. For me, it's not about how many h-scenes there are in a game or even if they're particularly well done. With this game, I feel like once you've seen the first lewd encounter, you've pretty much experienced it. The fact that there are so many 5-star reviews is part of the reason: this game is not a "must have" for me to play. It's more like a "is this the only new thing this week?" kind of experience. There are quite a few 2- and 3-star games that I've had more fun playing than this one, because of the total experience. IMHO.

Its a different experience to take on a team of sweaty gobbos than it is to be instructed in giving a blowjob for the first time. Not to mention all the teasing during regular activities. Several alien species have distinct quality about their cum & cocks that makes them different. I mean ultimately you do you but if there is something I cant relate to at all, its your statements here. I get that while many of us love the game for being futa on male exclusively some want all kinds of different fetishes and genders in every variation. Still your judgement rests on quality being worth basically nothing. I dont go to a male on male only game and vote it down because its basically a meh category for me despite its quality. But I guess I fanboyed enough over this.

No offense on my side; I was simply correcting your claims about the game. There is a difference between saying that this or that portion of the UI could be handled better (yes, it could, and I am already working on it!) and claiming it is not there at all. The first is a valid, constructive criticism; the other is simply false. The same applies to the rest of your points regarding the UI & menu functionality. Could these things be handled better? Yes! Are they entirely missing from the game? No. This is why I responded in the first place.

And just briefly touching on the lewd scenes, I feel that there could be more variety than just a bunch of 7-foot tall amazons with 3-foot long schlongs giving it to a 5-foot tall femboy. That's just me. Sure, it's hot, but it gets old after a while. To be fair, I guess that's all that most players will ever care about.

So, it ultimately boils down to "why this exclusively futa on femboy game has only futas banging femboys, that's boring for me." This is completely fine; we all have different tastes, but I can't sincerely imagine any situation where this is considered a constructive, objective critique, as it is quite literally the opposite of it. With that in mind, there is again a difference between saying "not to my tastes" and saying "it's not varied enough." The first is completely fine, and you would be far from the first person to say that - after all, SP is niche's niche by design. The other is, again, factually wrong with regard to the genre/kink. Sakyazel nicely elaborated the rest of this argument.

A visual indication on the main map of where there is still unplayed content would be useful. A message shown when all of the game's content is completed would also be helpful to not have to click on every option in every menu just to be sure you finished that version's content. Maybe just have all of the clickable areas on the map be highlighted by default to be easier to see. With the exclamation marks only shown when that area still has unplayed content.

why are you making a big deal out of it like just leave if you dont enjoy game then go please just leave

also why dont you offer help with the game if you want variety you could help or you could just start making your own game like do you think its easy to make a game like this do you have any idea how hard is to make a game like this on your own? cos its easy to tell dev that why dont you just do this or do this better thats so easy for you cos you are not the one making the game and also you know its super early access so im sure vp will rework alot of this and also i did saw vp is working on some animation so you not even giving time for vp to work on the game

It is today, but its not 5.5 yet. Idk how its numbered but its the Lise content thats coming out. 5.5 is Ginny and takes a month.
As for Lise we can only hope Eleanor steals her and Ginny smuggles her to us soon. Its up to a pirate.

Okaaay but here's the thing, I've played a fucktonne of adult games, both VN and sandbox, and have seen plenty of flaws, usually QoL issues that, if I ever make a game, will be absent. In a sandbox for example, under no circumstances would I leave the player in a position where they need to click on a location (the docks), a sub location (Despina) then 4 possible sub locations (the crew members) only to find there was nothing left to do; I would make that clear from the map because that's what I would want from another dev (all this with the caveat that I know fuck all about coding )
